From Brad Ingelsby, the Emmy-nominated creator of Mare of Easttown, starring Mark Ruffalo and Tom Pelphrey, #Task is coming to HBO Max this September.

Task is an upcoming American crime drama television miniseries created and written by Brad Ingelsby for HBO. It stars Mark Ruffalo, Tom Pelphrey, Emilia Jones, Thuso Mbedu, Raúl Castillo, Jamie McShane, Sam Keeley, Fabien Frankel, and Alison Oliver. It is slated to premiere in September 2025.

Principal photography began in March 2024 in the Delaware County, Pennsylvania and Philadelphia.

There is something about the vibe of a series based in the late 60's or 70s that I always love. 2 episodes in and this series has my complete attention. You have two characters Josh Holloway as Jim Ellis and Rachel Hilson as Nina Hayes caught between a rock and a hard place for very different reasons and they are surrounded by sinister people and those that oppose. The show has some interesting Meta moments and it's going to be interesting where the show goes .
Its also going to be interesting to see how much trouble the characters get in and are they truly ready to take on what's to come.

Sometimes difficult and sometimes playfully difficult right up to the end of his life. Persecuted and prosecuted but still he was open to saying truths about his career and life. I had forgotten how many celebrities got their start on Pee Wee's Playhouse
