JUSTICE LEAGUE ACTION: KEVIN CONROY AND MARK HAMILL STARRING IN NEW ANIMATED SERIES

Cartoon Network has announced a brand-new, quarter-hour animated series - Justice League Action - from Warner Bros. Animation, based on the iconic characters from DC Entertainment.

Kevin Conroy -- the famous voice of Batman/Bruce Wayne from the acclaimed 1990s Batman: The Animated Series and Arkham game series, among other Batman adaptations -- will make his return to the character for Justice League Action, marking the first time he's voiced Batman in an ongoing animated series since Justice League Unlimited ended in 2006.

In addition, Conroy's longtime animated antagonist, Mark Hamill, will return as the Joker, as part of a voice lineup that includes James Woods as Lex Luthor and Diedrich Bader (himself a former Batman, from the Brave and the Bold animated series) as Booster Gold. Warner Bros. notes there are more, still to be announced, cast members. Notably, we still don't know who is voicing Superman and Wonder Woman, despite their prominence in the first image from the series.

Per the press release, on Justice League Action, "Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman lead the DC Comics Super Heroes against their most infamous foes in adventures packed with relentless thrills, fun and action. No need to wait for the good stuff to start, each eleven-minute episode jumps in with lightning-paced action and heroics. Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge."

The new series is the first DC Comics-based franchise to launch on Cartoon Network since the highly-successful Teen Titan Go!

Sam Register (Teen Titans Go!) serves as executive producer with Butch Lukic (Justice League, Batman Beyond), Alan Burnett (Batman: The Animated Series) and Jim Krieg (Green Lantern: The Animated Series) serving as producers.

There is no set start date for Justice League Action at this time.

I wonder how long it will take for cartoon network to banish this show to the 4 am time slot like the rest of the DC shows. It blows my mind how Time Warner owns D.C. and Cartoon Network, can come up with amazing animated movies through DC animated, is kicking ass with there live action D.C. shows on CW, and yet they don't seem to have a clue on what to do with their comicbook shows on Cartoon Network. Out of everything else, this should be the easiest thing to do.

Nope. They won't do this to me again. Every dc animated show I get hooked then they cancel

Man you took the words right out of my mouth. Beware the Batman was fucking amazing after I finally got a chance to catch all the episodes. It started off slow and then right when it was picking up... BOOOM Cartoon Network took it off the schedule and purged the remaining episodes at 4 am in the morning. I bet most people don't even know the show had 26 episodes. Oh and don't even let me mention Young Justice and Green Lantern.

Fucking young justice and beware the bat. What a tragedy.

Good news but we all know what happened to Young Justice. Cartoon Network completely shitted it on it. They never aired it and it wound up getting cancelled. :smh:
