2Pacalypse Now is the debut studio album by American rapper Tupac Shakur, released on November 12, 1991.

Though less polished than his later studio albums, 2Pacalypse Now is 2Pac's most overtly political work. In it, he addresses contemporary social issues facing American society, such as racism, police brutality, poverty, and teenage pregnancy, some issues giving a lyrical glimpse into the world of a young black man on the urban streets of the United States.
2Pacalypse Now was certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America. It has sold 923,455 copies in the United States as of 2011.

Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z... is the second studio album by rapper Tupac Shakur, released by Interscope Records and T.N.T. Recordings on February 16, 1993. The rights now belong to Amaru Entertainment. N.I.G.G.A.Z. in the title is an acronym for Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished; the "Z" in the title makes it a plural.

Similar to his debut, 2Pacalypse Now, the album contains many tracks emphasizing 2Pac's political and social views. The album was going to be named "Troublesome 21", the 21 referring to Shakur's age at the time. Debuting at number twenty-four on the Billboard 200, this album saw more commercial success than its predecessor, and there are many noticeable differences in production. While Tupac's first effort included a more underground or indie-rap-oriented sound, this album was considered his "breakout" album. It spawned the hits "Keep Ya Head Up" and "I Get Around" and has since reached double platinum status.

“Pac was just silly. He’s completely different from what people knew. Not that it was an act, the person that the world knew, because that was him, too. I adored him--he liked to play and laugh.” -Janet Jackson

In perspective im 37. I graduated High School in 1996. Look at all the shit this nigga accomplished and people he met. This nigga created networking damn near. As far as people tossing around females in the industry he was one of the ones that started it. As far as the industry period Suge had a big hand in it but these niggas shaped and molded the shit.

Um... The world did exist before you graduated high school. 2pac "damn near" created networking and pioneered treating groupies like groupies? :cmonson:

Gotta understand the times she came up in as a Hollywood kid where folks she knew dropped like flies in the 80s.

They didn't know as much 22 years ago about HIV transmission as they do now. It was a LOT of unknowns.

I can't say I blame her...considering ALL of that shit.

But I thought it was a herpes test she wanted his ass to get?

“I met Tupac the summer that I came back to Marin from college up in Washington. He was doing the music thing at that time. He used to carry this notepad around with him, everywhere we went. Everywhere. You know how a kid carries around a favorite blanket or football? That’s how he was. We’d be leaving the house and we’d say ‘Tupac, come on, leave the book at home.’ He used to write in it all the time. And people ask today where is all his music coming from? Well, imagine that he was writing all the time way back then when I knew him. Tupac had so much knowledge oozing out of him that he just had to put it on paper. He wrote for the love of writing.” - Darrell Roary

Darrell Roary met Tupac in Marin City, California, when Tupac moved from Baltimore to the West Coast. #TBT

CODE OF THUG LIFE

“I didn’t create T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E., I diagnosed it.” – Tupac Shakur.

In 1992 at the ‘Truc Picnic’ in Cali, Tupac was instrumental in getting rival members of the Crips and Bloods to sign the Code Of THUG LIFE. He and Mutulu Shakur had helped write up the ‘code’ , with help from other ‘og’s’. The Code of THUG LIFE is listed here.It details do's and don'ts for being a righteous thug and banger.

Code OF THUG LIFE:
1. All new Jacks to the game must know: a) He’s going to get rich. b) He’s going to jail. c) He’s going to die.

2. Crew Leaders: You are responsible for legal/financial payment commitments to crew members; your word must be your bond.

3. One crew’s rat is every crew’s rat. Rats are now like a disease; sooner or later we all get it; and they should too.

4. Crew leader and posse should select a diplomat, and should work ways to settle disputes. In unity, there is strength!

5. Car jacking in our Hood is against the Code.

6. Slinging to children is against the Code.

7. Having children slinging is against the Code.

8. No slinging in schools.

9. Since the rat Nicky Barnes opened his mouth; ratting has become accepted by some. We’re not having it.

10. Snitches is outta here.

11. The Boys in Blue don’t run nothing; we do. Control the Hood, and make it safe for squares.

12. No slinging to pregnant Sisters. That’s baby killing; that’s genocide!

13. Know your target, who’s the real enemy.

14. Civilians are not a target and should be spared.

15. Harm to children will not be forgiven.

16. Attacking someone’s home where their family is known to reside, must be altered or checked.

17. Senseless brutality and rape must stop.

18. Our old folks must not be abused.

19. Respect our Sisters. Respect our Brothers.

20. Sisters in the Life must be respected if they respect themselves.

21. Military disputes concerning business areas within the community must be handled professionally and not on the block.

22. No shooting at parties.

23. Concerts and parties are neutral territories; no shooting!

24. Know the Code; it’s for everyone.

25. Be a real ruff neck. Be down with the code of the Thug Life.

26. Protect yourself at all times..
