That was probably her first time ever shooting a gun and she didn't realize the power it had. She definitely shouldn't have that for her first gun to shoot.
I believe all of us, the first time we shot a gun, couldn't handle whatever gun it was we shot the very first time we ever shot a gun.
I remember the first time I shot a Desert Eagle, it nothing like what I expected. That bitch was powerful as fuck and I have shot shotguns and all types of handguns up to the point. TV is funny because they make that shit look easy and it's far from it...and that's what happened to that little girl

With a shotgun the force from the shot is going into your shoulder, with a 45 handgun, your wrists and forearms better be strong to avoid that kick. People watch movies and think firearms don't have kick, well lesson learned.
