What I am trying to do is point out the hypocrisy I see. If that was Obama, the Clintons or Bernie Sanders they were entertaining these cats would not say anything. And, to tell you the real deal, blacks were more harmed under Obama and the clintons. There were so many blacks unemployed, murdered and encarcerated under Obama. There were more blacks locked up under Clinton's three strikes than Bush and Regan combined. A couple of points... bc i agree with you in theory (redemption etc.) but with caveats.
First point, Tina’s rationale for voting for Trump was inconsistent with his rhetoric. He was never christian, and Christians who voted for Trump did so bc they heard the white supremacy dog whistle. So, why did Tina vote for him? Until we (I) hear a REAL explanation She’s out. Out bc it was done for financial reasons and you can’t hide those behind faith. Out bc she’s a public figure with sway who could use this as a transcendent moment to teach others. Her profile makes her more dangerous than a murderer... bc people actually listen to her.
Second, short money always has long term consequences. CM might deserve an immediate second chance but she’s gonna have to check the ego that emboldened her to step over her fans for the money. That and a real sincere apology... where she donates some of those funds to a cause we patronize (UNCF... or something). And a one time donation... a commitment that extends beyond a gift. If she really wants a second look she’s gonna have to let people know she understands how her actions injured.
