They are actors, smart guy. They are acting. They were playing a role. They represented a character. All jokes aside, it is painful to see that so many of us are just blind, It is truly painful that we cannot see what is right in front of us. Nobody (besides the original poster) is saying that Transformers was a racist movie. But I saw a lot of unnecessary racial undertones and representations within the movie. Again, all jokes aside, I almost feel enraged that people can say 'its just a movie.' This is the reason that nothing changes. We sit back and allow the shit to go on, without a second thought. Yes, its all over BET, MTV, degrading hiphop "music," etc. Does that make it OK to do it elsewhere? Of course it doesn't. Why are people suggesting Optimus Prime being black? Seriously, why is that a question?

Funny thing is...I saw this thread a few days ago and was going to go see the "new Die Hard" movie but said fuck it cuz Transformers was starting earlier so I saw it. No "real" black person could tell me they did not 'wrench' (at least a little) @ the Bernie Mac mama scene, The Anthony Anderson scenes, the 'fat-dude' doing the 'running-man' and the "Jazz" robot breakdance routine.
Dont get me wrong the movie was visually stunning and the special effects were incredulous but those parts were bullshit. Let's face it had they employed the worst stereotypic images of Jews in that movie there would have been calls for boycotts all over this nation.

I saw the movie and I felt it was bullshit the way the black characters were portrayed. I thought I was trippin, because I'm usually on edge, but the more I have thought about it, i think it was done intentionally, maybe not maliciously but just as effective as getting these stereotypes across.

This was a advertising plug for the Xbox 360. They were playing the very popular game Dance Revolutions for the Xbox 360. The fat guy was doing the running man on the game pad that was on the floor. If you are not familiar with the Game Dance Revolutions....the premise of the game is to mimic what the characters are doing on screen by dancing on the pad that is on the floor. The pad on the floor is numbered. You have to be in sequence with the numbers that are on screen. When they first walked in the room they said they where playing Xbox. For those who don't know....Dance Revolutions has all the old school hip hop moves in them. I will list a couple of videos of the game in action

So when the cops burst in the door he bounced like any brotha would do. "Remember the old saying that white people ask questions 1st & then run.....and that brothas run 1st and ask questions later." The scene was just comedy. It is funny to see a fat guy move run and hurdle things like he is in the Olympics. The guy could have been white and the scene would have still been funny.
