Peterson doesn't seem like the kind of person who goes looking for a fight, so something extreme must have happened for him to have this reaction. I imagine that there were some choice words said to Peterson in addition to being spat on, and that's why he decided to take matters into his own hands.
If people were nicer, this kind of stuff just wouldn't happen. Peterson is someone who clearly shouldn't be messed with, and this video shows just that.
