Toyota agree to build $1.6 billion dollar plan in KLAN BAMMA! why????

Toyota like any company will move to the state that allows the most fuckery. That is why my family moved to Dallas. They moved the corporate headquarters here cause Texas gave them incentives.

Not they are having issues cause the workforce here isn't as qualified and are having difficulty picking things up (dumb as rocks) but I guess they figure they are saving cash cause they pay lower wages.
They want to be cheap but the end up paying the money in the long run, the same or very much similar to what they would have been paying a union wage in another state. They went to a state where they can get the cheapest land and pay the people less, but as you said people are dumb as bricks and don't retain information.

So you have to have the people off, send them to be retrained and retrained and spend the money to train them and retrain them

Lack of education bruh because anybody with some sense of intelligence would know having a union is best for them as workers. They continue to vote against their own interests. :smh:

Yeap.. I dont get that thinking of not needing a union.. These corporations are making billions and without a union those people are making peanuts.. I know alot of people are not with unions, but I spent 28yrs with the IBEW and I had a blast with that union!! Anyway, thats too bad those folks feel that way about unions! They are fucking themselves out of money, the corporations have money in the budget and if they can get real cheap labor. Thats bonuses for the management team!!

People in the south believe they can strike their own deal and don't need a union to speak for them. Complete and utter ignorance. I worked down south and got hired on at 16 bucks an hour. After 6 months I told them this isn't a living wage in Cali (I commuted to work) but the locals were happy as shit. They got a new Truck and a double wide trailer and they were good. Finally got it bumped up to $22 but that was still shitty.

The opportunity came to switch to international and a day rate and I jumped. I told the white cats I work with they should switch too, but they were comfortable getting fucked. They liked being close to home and didn't want to travel to countries where the police and army are black.

So I was making in 45 days the money it took those bastards 180 days to make. :smh:

One of the white boys I was working with got a promotion and is still living in a trailer park. He came to Angola once but simply couldn't adapt cause he's a redneck.

Think flat Earth logic and you will understand the sickness. They love the company but the company doesn't love them.

that can go both ways...a lot of companies got sick of union demands and just packed up and moved overseas

why ya'll keep buying from companies who do this type of shit?

Workers assemble engines at Toyota Motor Manufacturing in Huntsville, Alabama. North Carolina has lost out to Alabama on landing the much sought-after Toyota-Mazda joint auto manufacturing plant, which would have brought 4,000 jobs to the state. Courtesy of Toyota

http://www.newsobserver.com/news/business/article194037469.html

That plant will be fully automated with robotics building the cars.. no jobs will be had by cacs oh and them corporate tax cuts...

Let's see how this works....

1- No Unions to deals with

2- The Land in the South is MUCH CHEAPER than anywhere else

3- You don't have to pay people much to come to work when they are used to having NOTHING anyway.

4- Hire a few Black People so they think MASA is really going to look out for them

5- Get your cars made for CHEAP, don't have to ship them over here and make a HUGH PROFIT

Anything else??

They build in places least likely to unionize. It will be probably two hours from any major city, so their workforce will be white savages.

Anybody black will try to commute will get jacked up by the police. They are trying to maximize the profits they send back to Japan.

Your right.. People make the biggest mistake by fallen in love with the corporation!! These corporations dont give 2 fucks about the people that work for them, as long as the work or product is produced they are happy and show a lot of fake love!!

They were moving overseas anyway!! The union didnt have anything to do with that, I know they pushed that narrative over the media.. Its all about paying shitty wages and making huge profits!!

Trump's tax plan or whatever....it needed to be done but it's equal to trying to put more money into a piggy-bank that's already full to the brim and the piggy-bank being the corp.

Unions are a gift and a curse all in one,for that man or woman that has an issue on the job the union helps them but along with that comes the fuck shit where the union protects people like John who calls in,steals, lie and is headed to a rehab for his second time for the next 6 months,3 of which he will still be getting paid for and his insurance will be picking up the tab on that rehab stay.I've seen this go on....John needs to be fired

Remember Unions didn't really began to benefit blacks until the 1980's after they helped white women in the work force.....like anything it's still flawed.

True!!! Unions have their issues too!!

False Republican narrative...

Alabama and most southern states including the Midwest are right to work states

No unions

Wisconsin has that right to work law but not here in Illinois. It's some fools on the job that try to bitch about the union but I tell them you don't bitch when they paying us double time on Sundays or triple time on holidays. Man I've seen dudes show up to work drunk and not get fired, why? Because they are protected by the union. I've been at other jobs with no union and they would fire you for any little thing and would get away with it. There are some people who will take advantage of the union, it be those people who never want to come to work. :smh:

It's always cheaper to move manufacturing to third world countries like Alabama

Huntsville has the 2nd largest engineering park in the states. Highest number of engineers / capita. Founder of Discovery Channel is there. 4 star General there at Missile Defense, NASA, Hudson Alpha BioTech

Far from 3rd World fam

..and here this dude go

Companies dont give a fuck about that lol. They give a fuck about the lowest labor and the most incentives. And for the record, Mercedes has a plant in Alabama too. Kia has one in Georgia. Pretty sure there's one in Kentucky as well.

You aint kiddin, there's always a few kats that push the limits with their union rights.. However, after a few incidents the union catches onto their ass and then they have to give that person the talk!! Usually they get their shit together, but if they dont they will find themselves sitting in a room with a lot of people and no one has anything good to say about them!! The union can be on your side or they can be just another arm of HR..

Huntsville is nice. Alabama is the 6th poorest state in the union. Some counties have a poverty rate of 40% or better and the overall poverty rate is 20%. While calling it third world may a (slight) exaggeration, the concept that these companies employ to decide where their production facilities will be built is the same one that Apple uses.

Anyone remember the "Buy American" campaign back in the day?
Well all that shit shut down when those foreign companies began building their product in the south. Now you have red necks riding around in Toyota Tundra, Nissan Titans, etc.....and those "pro American" republicans/politicans are handing out candy to these companies like their Willy Wonka .:roflmao:
That's the real reason those companies chose the south to build their plants, etc......

GM and Ford barely have any auto plants in the South probably because of their anti union environment. People will be driving electrics soon...

The South is the preferred location for transplants, the non-union atmosphere, state incentives, developed supplier base. Most OEM's are still heavy on manpower, robots are useful in some operations not all. Toyota is historically a manpower heavy company, they have not relied on automation as much another OEM's put even those are as much as most folks believe. The commercials always show welding and paint robots, they look good in commercials.

GM had a plant in Shreveport LA, closed in 2012, had one in Gerogia, Ford also had one in Gerogia. The pro-union plants in the north is why GM doesn't have plants in the south. There moving all there sedan production to mexico, not profitable in the US.

Most of the workers will NOT be black
That could be true and that could be the opposite. A white lady worked at the honda plant in Alabama. She complained to herself about the conditions and things and only worked to get one pay check. She took that paycheck and bought cleaning supplies, got bonded, and made up some cards that said "ONE CLEAN HOUSE". She passed them out in a well off area and she makes way more than what she made at honda and she is the boss and take her breaks when she gets ready.
They do not mind hiring blacks as long as the money comes back. Or them always being employee and not employer. It is the kind of attitude that Bush probably had when they invested in beer with a high alcohol content targeted for soldiers to keep them drunk and loyal.

My city was looking forward to getting that, but Greensboro's taxes be on some bullshit, so I can understand why they pulled out.

We have honda's aircraft mechanical hub here, so I wonder if that has anything to do with it.

I'll bet that N. Carolina location wasn't quite as rural (white) as that location in Alabama. :hmm:

Add in plentiful and cheap land and it's wrap.

Lol. You're probably right. the population is fairly split where they was considering.

It's was a large area in the country but Greensboro has a large population of blacks on the south side of the city.

By the way, Boeing also pull their multi million dollar contract with our city as well. They had plans on making our airport a major hub for them.

Greensboro lost a lot of potential money.

See there's no way we can ever prove it but I believe these new facilities are being placed in locations to ensure whites get the first shot at those jobs. Also take note of how many companies suddenly started hiring after Obama left office. Coincidence or part of their plan? You already know. :hmm:
