I'm only 6 minutes in, but, Toure seems like he's just being snarky, silly and brewing for this CAC to shout down, if not beat down, the Zimmermans. He's acting real Bill O'Reilly-ish. This nigga's a clown.

He seems to forget; that his responsibility as a "journalist" is to report the facts, not to interpret them as he sees fit and pass judgement. (See Spike Lee's predicament)
There's a time & place for tv personalities to give their opinions. All he did was to just confirm to the world that he's NO serious journalist.
My advice: Stick to entertainment news and gossip blogs pal...

He looked immature during the interview. He couldn't stump Morgan so then he resorted to you aren't black or American so you can't comment. That shit baffled me and it was something a child would say. Morgan wasn't giving his opinion, he was just interviewing someone.
Not a fan of Toure in general but he destroyed Piers imo. He took him to task on his horrendous interview with Zimmermans brother, exposed his lack of preparedness and knowledge on their relationship, and reduced Piers to a beet red emotional wreck whose only ammunition was to resort to personal attacks and talk of journalistic integrity. And anyone knowing even a little of Piers backstory would laugh hysterically after hearing him question ANYONES integrity...especially considering the amount of scandal he was involved in in Britian. His countrymen view him as a joke and disgrace.

Yes it was in poor taste and the timing was fucked up, but I understand the attempt and his explanation of the tone of the comment. Tone means a lot and that would be the case if a white person said it also. I don't feel comfortable with the tweet regardless, but the reality is Piers was trying to side step the issue at hand, because it's easier to put up smoke and mirrors over admitting he had a soft touch approach to the interview.
All these people want to make it about themselves... come on man... these are TV personalities. It is their job to sell themselves.
As far as NBC getting the brother... Toure looked like an ass only because he tried to make it seem like any network is more honorable than the next...
I'll give you that, but I agree with what he was saying overall. I guess it depends on the audience, because I can imagine motherfuckers making excuses for Zimmerman to hold to this "objective bullshit", but I can't see letting the brother, father, Oliver or the lawyer go with saying all the answers will come out later when there is obvious holes and contradictions in everything that the Zimmerman side has been saying.
