I am really surprised to still see Nash in the top 10 at this point. How can you have steve nash over Chris Paul at this point.

He dropped from #6 to #13 based on his injury-riddled '09-'10 season. Nash pretty much stayed even. He was great last year and is scoring more this year. Gotta primarily factor in the previous year for these early season rankings.

Ok. I thought this was based solely on this season since there are rookies like Wall on the list. If Wall makes this list, Blake Griffin has to be on there.

On another note, pretty ill that Nash is still good for 19 points and 9 assists at 37 years old.

yea he needs to leave the clippers to do it tough. last night it was evident, whenever it ran through him something positive happened. whenever they tried to do it on their own it was a fuck up. if i was vinny i'd say whenever blake is on the court there has to be at least a pass and pass away through blake. if you're not ok with that then you're gonna be sitting next to me period.

i pray his health sustains and he can give us great highlights for years to come. he doesn't need to dunk every time. as he learns how to shoot a 15 footer and he learns to just get fouled, to go along with his jumping ability, he'll average 27pts easy. he's already at 20 with a raw offensive game and he has the "it" when it comes to rebounds.
future is bright for him

in nash's case..as is with all pg's with a passers mentality, he just needs finishers. he can still get to spots to distribute so as long as they have finishers around him he'll always average a high volume of assists. when he can't get to the spots (the elbow, the lane) then it'll be time for him to hang it up

You're right, of course. Nash plays with AMAZING guile and he's surrounded by great shooters. I assumed he'd struggle without Amare finishing the pick and roll for him. I was wrong.
 
I don't see how anyone hasn't question Shaq's monkey ass on this list?!?!? This isn't a list from the 2000 season... :confused::smh:

yea the inside hurts a little but they added 3 more finishers where amare was.

seems like both nash and amare are good in their own right

He's played 11 (averaging 18 PPG and 9 APG). Apparently he was the more highly regarded player coming into the season and early in the year. We're talking about just 50 players. Can't include everyone. These "experts" are just giving their opinions.

Kevin Love has more of a beef. But again, he'll get his props next season. This is really his breakthrough year.

and blake is averaging 20 and 11 so what's your point?

kevin love should be on there too. these experts opinion doesn't seem all that good. like they're picking names out of a hat instead of looking at skill level as of now etc

Whatever list YOU came up with would be easily torn apart too. That's the nature of such LISTS and rankings, though some clearly have more value than others. You're free to disagree with the pros. :rolleyes:
