You do realize that Peterson is a top contender right. Casamayor hasn't been a top anything since Marquez put his head out. I used to like Bradley but first the bullshit with the Khan fight and now this "matchup"?

I'll tell you what I know - if I were to design a fighter to put the ass whipping on his life on Pac - it would be Floyd. Everyone I know who is neutral on this subject believes that PBF is simply too skilled for a guy who's best asset is his ability to throw a lot of punches for 12 rounds. If top rank was really serious about fighting Floyd and if they KNEW that Manny could beat him, they would have conceded to the tests, which was Floyd's only demand. A draw with a guy who would go on to win the welterweight title and a loss to the one of the top two jr welters. Not too bad. Not world class but not an over the hill, shot fighter way past his prime.

Did you watch the fight he had with Ortiz? Ortiz came in huge and Peterson not only out boxed him... he had Ortiz backing up and taking cover... It seemed to me a fire had been lit under his ass and was trying prove himself to the world. Fuck the judges Peterson won that fight. If anyone would like him after that fight I thought a guy like you would.

I know you are on this "Ortiz isn't shit" campaign right now, but Ortiz was never a bum. The reason he got shitted on so hard after quiting is because he was actually out boxing Maidana... He was getting caught with shots, but it was coming down to who had the will to keep fighting. Maidana had it, but Ortiz wasn't or isn't a bum.

Peterson is a solid slick fighter which is something everyone needs on their resume if they are talking about Floyd. It simply makes sense.
