THIS shit is all over the Net, but I've never heard this in my life! Do you wash raw chicken?

I wash my chicken and everything else . This post is what white people do . Nasty shit .
This is not a white or black thing. It is simple science. Anyone who washes their meat are spreading the bacteria around their kitchen. Those are jut facts. Don't get caught up in "Washing".

Washing does nothing really and has no impact on health whether you do or don't, so it is indeed a choice with no wrong or right answer.. The problem is the spreading of bacteria from washing and most don't properly disinfect after washing. So the real problem is cleaning up after vs washing. Washing is just the cause of the spread but not the issue.

So I shouldn't wash my dick after raw dogging the skank whore from the strip club cause water is not a disinfectant and I'd just be spreading the herpes, HIV, chlamydia, clap, crabs and genital warts all over the bathroom where my wife would end up catching it? Wait, what a great idea, then I could blame it on her!

No, the article should have clarified that "Washing" has no impact on meat whether you do or don't. The real issue is cleaning up after the meat is prepped.

Dishwasher utilizes high heat to kill germs. Hand washing is not the best method as in most cases the dishrag will be contaminated with bacteria.

I've never heard of anyone getting sick from hand washed dishes and what does the extra sterilization matter when you are storing the dishes in an unsterilized kitchen.
Yea yea I know, you wipe down your kitchen with bleach 50 times a day,
your cabinets are air tight.
You never leave the house without wearing a hazmat suit.
When you have 2 sterilization rooms one when you enter the home and the other before you enter the kitchen.

At home, you are use to your bacteria so it has little to no impact on you. Your body is more than capable of killing and fighting off those bacteria. Now if you were at a restaurant or others house, the preferred method of cleaning would be a dishwasher because of the use of high heat.

At restaurants I've seen dishes ant cutlery with spotty dried stuff on them left behind by the dishwasher, the dishes are usually in a pile, goes through multiple hands, sits on the counter until the waitress picks it up, and is walked through the restaurant before it is finally sat on the table where multiple people has come into contact with. How exactly does dishwashing protect you from this?

Dishwashers are meant as a convenience not as a protection against diseases.

You waited till page three to come in and have a gay ass hissy fit about what I post? Negro, why you give a fuck what I post? There's plenty of bandwidth left for you to post two muthafukas rubbing dicks, or trannies playing volleyball or whatever your thing is. If you're so interested in bandwidth being wasted on things you don't find interesting the why the fuck you bring your bitch ass in here and waste even more? I'm TRYIN' to understand this place, I really am, but some of you bitch boys defy all logic!
No... this BS got to three pages before I saw it.... you sure have a broad and imaginative interest in tranny posting..... you no doubt must be an FTP

Think of me as whatever you wish... it don't cost a nickel. But I bet you can't find a single solitary instance of me devaluing a board member, questioning their right to post whatever they wish, (they paid their money) as if I own the board, or speak on behalf of every member, or as if I am the sole arbiter of what's interesting, timely, repetitive or anything else. I don't bother or belittle anyone, in seriousness and the very few agitated moments I've had here were ALWAYS initiated by someone else. Never me! Have a good night, sir.

Another long ass diatribe

Like I said white folks shit . Do you know the process that it takes to get chicken or beef and pork to your kitchen table ? The fact that some of the USDA inspectors are being paid off to look the other way , they allow all kind of bullshit to get to your table , so dont tell me that washing my raw meat is a bad idea ..THATS SOME WHITE FOLKS BULLSHIT . Im not going to go into everything that encompasses but I will say this . I wash my meat and basically everything that has to be cooked , As far as spreading bacteria , it can be done and kept to a minimum . Im a graduate of Fine Culinary Arts Training and my background is in the food service industry which I had to be NIFI certified in Food Prep and Food Service Sanitation ( too many to list ) If you wash your meat in a large container or basin that you place in the sink and afterwards , clean the basin and the food prep area properly , you will limit cross contamination to a minimum which is what I do .Always have . How many black people on BGOL will say they never wash raw meat before cooking it ?Dont worry I'll wait .

Water doesn’t solve or help with anything you just described. So why do it?

My interaction with you is done , you do you and I will do me .
I never understood why people like you argue just to do so. It’s like people hate being wrong. You could have simply said “I just feel more comfortable washing my meat” vs doubling down on arguing some how water can be a disinfectant

cacs don't wash their meat.
I'm washing my meat fuck them
FYI - I wash my chicken with lemon juice

Oldie but Goodie

With everything going on in the world today, some folks still don't wash the manufacturing process off the bird. They're really gonna go on ahead and trust whoever handled it between it being alive and showing up in their kitchen :smh:

...not to mention that depending on HOW your preparing the bird, its sometimes impossible to do so without cleaning off the gunk, slime, blood, feathers, etc. How are folks seasoning and marinating their bird? You cant put no dry rub on or properly fry/bread a slimy bird  next thing you know they're gonna tell us how the Slime helps the flour stick to the meat:puke:

Once you hone your reading skills that'll be less intimidating.
The only thing even remotely intimidating is the fact that you got your feelings hurt off a comment made by a complete stranger on the net.... and not even a derogatory one..... how you went from talking about washing raw chicken .... to talking about rubbing dicks together..... and how you keep coming back, cause you got your feelings hurt on the net, by a complete stranger....you should seriously think about some mental help.... :smh:

how I keep coming back? it's MY thread genius! YOU'RE the one who keeps coming back. But you're onto something though, as I've never engaged a person of your level this long, and it is tiring. I'm out.

My bad ....genius.... should've dumbed it down further for you..... you keep coming back with replies to me.... which you don't have to..... ur about as bright as a 40watt nitelite.... just go wash some chicken....

.

I use lemon juice and water. Cuts the fat while I clean the bird. Rinse off with cold water, pat dry and season. Don't know wtf these people are talking about and I'm not about to watch some video telling me how to clean chicken.

Same mawfuckas that tell you not to wash your chicken put raisins in there potato salad. :hmm:

We’ve been washing our chicken for centuries, fuck out of here.

One last thing, we about to go to 5 pages... pretty long for a subject you claimed had been beat to death! Oh and they don't make incandescents anymore so a 40 watt bulb in LED or even florescent would light up a living room, not be a nightlight. Thanks for dumbing it down. Glad I could help.

when you constantly try to prove how smart you are.... you dumb yourself down

Amazon product ASIN B07PMF2DFQThe legislation that basically "banned" traditional incandescents (40 watt to 100 watt standard types) really only banned their manufacture and importation in the United States (as of January 1, 2014). You can still buy and use them if you can find them, like these 60 watt Philips bulbs.
There is no such thing as an incandescent light bulb ban in the United States. In fact, on the very same day that the 60-watt incandescent light bulb disappears, you'll be able to buy a 43-watt incandescent light bulb to take its place. Or a 72-watt incandescent bulb. Or a 150-watt incandescent bulb.Jan 1, 2014

cause you keep bumping it....and I've seen the same subject talked to death repeatedly about the same shit.... don't mean that it needs a new damn thread every 9 months or so.... go get a hug nukka

This not washing chicken shit is for the careless mutha fuckas who don’t have any sense of space or respect to salmonella and proximity to other food.

This shit is stupid. If mutha fuckas don’t know how to wash chicken without contaminating other food your stupid ass doesn’t need to be in the kitchen.
