These CACS are all turning on Barrack. Larry Summers is out.

Feeling good, feeling great how are you though?

Nah, i'm good. My point is just give the kids what they want and sit back and watch them create a bigger mess but the slave won't be there to clean it up or stop it from getting worst that's all. :o

Horrible, horrible political strategy. Anything that goes south during the Obama term will be put on his shoulders so the best thing he can do is try to achieve his stated campaign goals. To just give in and give them what they want and watching everything collapse would destroy his legacy.

But a job with longer term power.
And less clout and responsibility is relative. There are

:lol::lol::lol:

like i said, man you dudes will say anything...you do realize that same argument can apply to the president of the U.S.?

so by your logic, being mayor of a major U.S. city, has more long term benefits than being president of the U.S. for 4 years!?

:lol::lol::lol:

either way as it stands, rahm is trying to get out of there, for whatever reason.

Now you're reaching. President of the United States is the ultimate job. He's a "boss", to use the term I used earlier. Chief of Staff is an employee, a powerful one but still an employee.

but let's stop acting like there are no positions higher. and being white house chief of staff, is a higher position.

how do you compare meetings w/world leaders on a regular basis, to helping orchestrate bus routes to better accommodate senior citizens.

and don't try to fall back on that tired: "well maybe that's just what he WANTS to do!" bullshit either

That's exactly what the mayor of Chicago does..Meet world leaders as the decision maker not the top advisor to somebody else. Daley over making deals with China right now.
You go from chief of staff to being a talking head on Sunday morning political shows.

You putting way more importance ob COS..He is an advisor, they trying to say he is 2ns most powerful because he has the presidents ear. that might be true or might be BS cause Michelle is 2nd most powerful. Valerie Jarret..
Hillary Clinton...

Some of you are really reading more into this than there is. Obama is under pressure to get rid of both Rahm and Summers mainly from the left. Summers is too connected to wall street and is seen as being way too friendly/generous with the big banks and trying to fuck small banks. Rahm has consistently talked reckless about the left: he literally said "liberals are fucking retarded". Rahm has also said fuck you to the unions, autoworkers and those who supported the public option et al. Don't believe any of the political hype that is coming from the right at the moment: Reagan had an approval rating of 46% at a point in his first two years in office and that was without a news network calling him the antichrist 24 hours a day. Obama is well positioned for reelection in 2012. I think it is hilarious that while most in the political world see this as an opportunity for a power move on Obama's part, some here see it as a sign of weakness....

True, Summers, was asked to stay past 1 year from what I heard (and I don't know why..honestly), but Harvard does in fact have a policy about leaving for 2 years tops and still being able to come back. Rahm, had mentioned the Chicago mayor's job as one that he would want to run for long ago. Mayor of Chicago, although being top dog there doesn't seem like an attractive gig for me, I guess he is from there, and it is not exactly a low key gig like mayor of let's say, Cincinnati...it's friggin Chi-town.

....BUT.... be that as it may, I think if things were going great, Rahm, at least might stick around, and run for that down the road. Summers... who knows; that economic team had some disagreements (big stimulus vs small stimulus, etc) and I know some of that fed into that white lady (Rohmer?) leaving...and I'm not sure where Summers came down on it, but I wouldn't be surprised if his resignation wasn't at least accepted with no attempt to get him to stay.

I know Cornell West is doing some cartwheels though.... cause I'm pretty sure Summers is one of the reasons he jetted from Harvard for Princeton years back .

Larry Summers was only going to be in the Administration during his two year leave from Harvard. This was in the plans all along, they played like it wasn't when it was convenient.

I had the Rahm conversation with my wife. She thought it odd that the White House Chief of Staff would step down to be a mayor. But it's the mayor of Chicago, not a small thing at all and has a longer shelf life. It's not like he wants to be mayor of Rochester, NY.

Lets give Barrack props for some bipartisanship ....not too long ago John Boehner suggested that he fires the entire economic team .at least he heeded the tan mans request..not too mention after Barrack got an earful on that CNBC townhall ..heads had to roll ...aint no leave shit ..this ninjas were fired..Rohmer was canned, she is the one who proclaimed pass stimulus and unemployment wont hover over 8%....thats reason enough to axe her ..
1. Orzag
2. Rohmer
3. Summers
....thus far only Timmy is left..and I think its because Timmy and Barrack is homeys ....:yes:
I do believe Rahmn was eying that Chi-town seat ....shooooot..the nefarious and chicago styles of Rahm...its the ultimate seat ...we know he cant be president ...he will never be house speaker.....so whats the next step in an ambitious chitown native like Rahm? its the next big thing ..more action! Wonder why Bloomberg is mayor:confused:

I know Cornell West is doing some cartwheels though.... cause I'm pretty sure Summers is one of the reasons he jetted from Harvard for Princeton years back
Cornell was fired...for making rap albums..:lol: spoken word, rap, hiphop..tomatoe, tomato..:lol:
conventional wisdom should tell us, you dont leave good gigs voluntarily ..and with Rahm..that lil ninja is an architect..he makes shit happen .he does not wait until it happens and then pops in like say ..ah Summers:rolleyes: them folk was fired..Rahm is husttlin! its a pattern ...you get out of line and pocket you get fired...we can list all who have left this admin since inception ....and look at the circumastance they have left..only Rahm will be different..this other ninjas....got the boot!

- nigga. I've been known the "REASON" why he is leaving...how in the fuck would i know that he was leaving without having read in the article WHY he is leaving?

are you off your meds?

my point is that he is supposedly leaving a job at the white house to work in local government...

you gonna sit up here and argue that that even SOUNDS right?

again, he is abandoning a sinking ship with a weak alibi.

Man you got it twisted. If he abandoned Obama chicago would be the last place he would go. What's this sink ship you speak of?

A month or so ago..Rahm says his next goal is to be mayor of Chi-town ...1 month later ..the mayor says he is not running... Rahmn won the house, won the presidency, won the congress, was chief of staff and now he will be mayor...jesse jackson jr had dibs on it ..and lo and behold ..he is embroiled in scandal :lol::lol: aint no bail outs, its more like "terminations" bail out season ended a yr ago!

What's this sink ship you speak of?

- the obama administration.

they don't know what they are doing.

obama doesn't know what he is doing.

quote me on that, i've said that before and will say it again (until they get their shit together).

In the next few months Obama will be talking strictly about deficit and cuts, mark my words.........

for no reason though. deficit to gdp ratio isn't so bad and the dollar is in high demand. long term rates at 2%? cmon, the gov can spend as much as it wants. but obama is a pussy so he probably will be on some dumb shit.

nobody gives a shit about the deficit. nobody.

I believe most of them are leaving because something major is about to come down the pipe. and when the people revolt...they dont wanna be targeted.

remember ...out of sight out of mind.

what is coming is the money gang in new york has burned through massive sums of money and either (a) they will have to go down or (b) the american sheeple will pay their debt via IMF-imposed austerity, auctions of public assets , privatizations of valuable government assets, etc. guess which one of those two options the money boys have planned?
