The Zimmerman Trial: Justice for Trayvon! (Let's discuss it)

Are you meaning the prosecution or that the cops should have pushed more on that part of his statement during his interrogation? ...cause of course the prosecution won't even have a chance to ask him that if they keep him off the stand. Man, I hope he gets up there though, because at least then (hopefully) he can have some pressure put on him to justify his actions.
man zimmerman is never taking the stand nor does he have to

im bugging how they keep saying how all of zimmermans stories are consistent

of course they are, he wasnt arrested until the governor hired a special person who felt he was full of shit/lies and that was after weeks of him being free...who knows the coaching he got in that time

hell the dude who led the special investigation hasnt been mentioned in this trial yet...hell i would put his ass on the stand

this whole shit is fucked up

If you guys thought this case was gonna be a cakewalk, you all should stop watching right now. This motherfucker is the son of a ex judge they were gonna come ready, not to mention the fact that they put a lot of pieces of the puzzle in the proper place by having the chief of police do his thing.

Is not an easy case, drill that into your heads.

they don't even need him to testify.

each and every police officer on the stand you ask the same series of questions along with whatever they're up there for. shit actually before you get to their specific role.

"When citizens call in suspicious behavior emergency or non emergency is it ever recommended that they get out of the car to investigate?"

"when citizens, even neighborhood watch people are out and call in, is it ever ok for them to follow a supposed dangerous suspect outside of their known neighborhood?"

"is it ever ok to leave the safety of your vehicle to engage any potential suspects?"

"If a person calls the non emergency line to report activity, is it ever ok for that person to engage, follow, get out of the car, confront, or any of the above?"

"did george zimmerman disobey every command given to him by the operator he sought out for help?"

"is it your opinion that this tragedy could have been prevented if george zimmerman simply stayed in his car, did as was instructed and let the police handle the matter?"

Nobody thought this was going to be anything even approaching a cakewalk, especially not after jury selection. As it has turned out though, the prosecution is definitely weaker than I thought they'd be. I thought there might at least be some reason for George to be a little scared a week into his trial, but so far he has reason to be very happy with his case.

That wouldn't work out too well though because it's not at all against the law to follow someone in your car, or to even get out and follow on foot. That's perfectly legal unless someone has previously got a restraining order or something along those lines. So, if they ask that, O'mara will just follow up and ask them to confirm what I just said. Also, the dispatch operator didn't order him to stay in his car. He was on the stand last week and said straight up that as dispatch, he's not allowed to order the caller to do anything... he can only suggest. So him saying we don't need you to do that... that isn't an order that has to legally be followed.

I agree with you in theory, and along the lines of common sense, but legally, none of that is relevant because it broke no laws. I think they need to focus on how a 16 year old would feel in Trayvon's situation though, and how only George's self serving story has Trayvon as the one who started the fight.

it is legal but the thing is they need to show he initiated everything. he did everything he could to ensure this happened.

they also need to show that someone fearing for their lives wouldn't take the actions he took at every step a fearful person would have done the opposite.

they show he's the initiator and aggressor

then Trayvon couldn't have been.

I'm right with you on that. Pound it into their heads that the 158 pound 16 year old being followed by the 200+ pound 29 year old got approached, and a fight started. The guy who profiled him on tape then claims that after he did everything in his power to put himself in front of Trayvon.... he then says that the kid HE was following... who was minding his own business.... jumped on him??

exactly.

he did everything in his power to ensure a confrontation.

even if he followed him and didn't get out of the car...

talking about he was watching my car...

CAUSE YOU'RE FOLLOWING HIM.

this is sick

Damn... awful statement to end on from a prosecution perspective. Defense asked if after everything he had heard, he felt Zimmerman was telling the truth... Detective answers "yes"... Judge: ok, we'll break for the day right there. :smh:

I saw on the news where Zimmerman said Trayvon jumped from out of the bushes, and said '...you're going to die tonight, homey!'

:hmm:

Now Trayvon is a fucking killer?

Man, this is why I can't watch this damn case.

I joke/troll around a lot on this site...

...but I can't even help but be raw. I got so mad a fucking tear dropped from my eye. I know those motherfuckers will believe that bullshit, 'cause it confirms their belief that black males are nothing but violent animals, and the poor cops are justified in puttin' down said violent animals.

Whatever, man.

If Zimmerman walks...

...I don't know, man. I'm not able to wrap my mind around that motherfucking walking.

This case is racism white supremacy at its finest

1. Trayvon is viewed as an adult when he just turned 17. in other words black people aren t ever allowed to be normal human beings as kids aren t allowed to be kids

2. No one gives Trayvon the same rights as Zimmerman (ie the ability to defend himself)

3. The phrase racial profiling is not allowed to be used (although the entire fucking scenario's foundation is racial profiling)

4. The good ole boy network - everyone testifying is part of the network and trying to paint ole Georgey in a good light. The police didn t even film the fuckin "interrogation".

They even have a rehearsed film of his bitch ass telling his story days after

If a 29 year old black man killed a 17 year old white boy - there wouldn t even be a story from the defendant cause his ass would be on death row as we speak.

zimmerman keeps changing his story.

NONE OF IT MAKES SENSE.

especially if the simple question is asked.

***why did you get out of the car.

There are only a few points that need to be driven home...

...because the defenses entire case falls apart if they can't be answered. THIS is one of those questions***.

so simple

why did you get out of the car?

why did you follow and search for him on foot?

why didn't you let the police handle it once he got out of your sight?

"You mean to tell me that you're doing martial arts training 3 times a week yet a supposedly jumps on you & you couldn't do anything other than kill him??? What happened to all this martial arts training??? What happened to your preparation???" - Al Sharpton

so simple

why did you get out of the car?
Because I was on a seek and destroy mission.

Because I was on a seek and destroy mission.

That's why.

I'm going to start thinking the prosecutor is a double agent soon.

The defense should be gettin' their ass handed to them everyday, because nothing Zimmerman did that night made sense. Nothing.

Like I just finished hearin' some of these folks say, you had a gun w/one in da chamber, does martial arts training 3 times a week & gets out of your SUV to follow TM...that's no indicative of someone who was scared. You were da one w/da gun, what da hell were you scared of???

"You're a part of da HOA & da head of neighborhood watch who walks your dog in this community often but don't know what street he was walking on & there's only three streets???"

Da whole trial is rigged if you ask me.

Only a racist and a person with a half of brain would believe this guy's story...I do believe he will walk because the prosecution sucks.

prosecutor is a double agent.

even in fucking movies and on law and order they prep their star witness in advance..

they did no such thing with their star witness. they just called her and told her she better show up or she could go to jail.
she wasn't prepared and that aint her fault.

they're showing everything that can HELP zimmerman. they're showing him going through the timeline and shit. showing his injuries. letting him lie and say trayvon jumped out of the bushes let him lie and say he thought he missed him from point blank range while trayvon was on top of him.

its SICKENING.

the police are letting him go because they believe his story?

OH FUCKING REALLY

no witnesses just the person who shot the other person then saying ok walk us through it when you can..

didn't even hold him.

and if we wouldn't have made a fuss he wouldn't have ever been arrested.

if motherfuckers on here still sleep while all of this is going on. let em

Where/who is this quote from???

And i swear i cat believe there are only three fucking streets man.

everything he did are the actions of someone who was not fearful of anything.

it is the action of an instigator. innocent non confrontational folks don't patrol and follow a kid. they don't get out of the car and search for them, they don't get into fights they'd be scared to death.

he says he was screaming help and then a lone man cam after trayvon was dead with a flash light. a lone person with all of that noise he was making and then a gunshot?

hell will be raised. promise that.
let it happen.. let him walk...

so simple

why did you get out of the car?

Because he was a n1ggar (I mean punk) that was going to get away.

why did you follow and search for him on foot?

Because I had my new gun and I'm not afraid of some n1ggar - I mean punk about to rob the place. Im the sheriff around these parts.

why didn't you let the police handle it once he got out of your sight?

What?I thought I was the police and I need to prove to everyone that I can get results.

Answered.

i fucking hate this country sometimes:angry:

ok im buggim. i hope they got a trick up the sleeve for the end of the trial. cus every witness sucked asss. defence ate they ass. why this dude didnt say he said gz got. on top amd spread his arms. fuck this shit man i can believe this shit

Another point to consider is that the police must act as though Zimmerman's story is legit. Otherwise it makes them look incompetent and as though they did not do their jobs properly. They are just trying to cover their asses from the frontline up, otherwise the Martins will also have a civil case against the Sanford Police Department as well.

We can't be surprised that the police back up Zimmerman even if the evidence presented doesn't support the testimony. Right now the only people losing are Trayvon's family. If one link the the chain breaks for the "cover your ass" team, white folks look bad and black folks get paid and you know they ain't trying to have that.
