this coverage is awful. they keep interrupting
HLN network (formerly cnn headline news) is playing the trial.... but they have commercials literally every 2.5 minutes, so webstreams are the best. Some were listed in this thread I think. Check mediate.com, orlando sentinal and radar online... they'll all have links.

yeah, I think because of their normal format, which is quick news story--> commercial --> quick news story --> commercial. When they have a trial to cover, they're bound by their advertising contracts, so they break to commercials so fucking much, and at the worst damn times. Now at least they pause and pick up where they left off, but it's still bullshit. The commentary is decent, but still....
See, court tv used to be there especially for this type of thing, but now they turned that into a "worlds funniest police chase" channel, so after 11am their sister station HLN has to cover trials.

Also, I think that this fuckface got fat like that on purpose for the trial. It's a visual thing. I guess the defense figures a fat, round, portly little man looks more innocent that a thin menacing piece of shit. I don't know. But I truly feel they told him to fatten up for strategy.

They showed his body laid out face up (no covering) during the trial and it overwhelmed quite a few people. The guys sitting next to his mom (Crump?) actually walked out of the courtroom.
Weight could work either way because Trayvon was only 155. With that said, the prosecution already pointed out a couple times that GZ was just over 200lbs the night of the killing.
i wanna no if he bought his gun. before all those earlier calls. and if he bought it after then that would kinda explain him not going after the other dudes he called on.

yeah, yesterday the defense was really trying to portray Trayvon as a big strong athlete, but no matter how they describe it, 5'11 155lbs 16 year old can't be portrayed as Lawrence Taylor. That's just not a big kid. He may not have been a little weakling, a 28 year old man weighing 200+ lbs can't honestly be portrayed as helpless when going against a 155lbs teen.

I did not see much of the trial today but I heard the 911 call yesterday. Zimmerman kept saying something like, "he's coming towards me", "he's reaching in his pants for something". Sounds like he called 911 just for a set up to kill the kid.

yeah, that last chick.... I don't know what her account of that night would have done for the prosecution anyway, because it didn't seem to play good or bad for either side... but they got a whole afternoon about that "movement from left to right". I missed a lot of her testimony in the beginning... can anybody tell me if anything she said played better for one side or the other (in terms of what happened that night)?
If her testimony favored the prosecution, I can see how the facebook and petition questions could minimize her usefulness, but her whole testimony seemed to be a waste as far as I could tell.

Exactly and the crime scene tech said there was no blood on the concrete. Surprised the prosecution didn't pursue that further to refute GZ saying his head was getting bashed in

when you get shot, you dont always bleed out. you sometimes bleed in. and when people get shot, they rarely fall in the same location of the shooting.
think of the robbery shooting video in atlanta involving the lebron shoe debut. the robber was shot fatally, but he didnt know it. he collapsed yards away. There also was no blood at the spot the robber was initially shot at.
Dude.. It isn't consistent with Zimmerman's story that Treyvon was beating his head on the concrete causing him to loose blood, and almost lose consciousness (no blood on the concrete), and that he shot Treyvon as he was on top of him beating him, and he rolled over and died instantly..
