My original point was AEW has a long way to go before it's a legitimate threat to WWE.
From production, to storytelling to the Wrestlers performance they are a much more polished product. AEW is still in its infancy but to think they are on par with the WWE is asinine.

I like AEW WWE Impact NJPW ROH. Hell I'm one of the few to admit to liking W.O.W and I can make an honest comparison. The flipping flopping spot fest leads to a sloppy less polished product. Its over used and a cover up for Wrestlers lack of being able to tell a story in the ring. NJPW can tell a story without 1000 spots in a match.
I like the mive set fast pace styles of Kenny Omega Will Osprey the YB and even the vintage rassslin style of FTR.
It's not even about the styles but the overall product. After watching Wrestmania I don't think AEW is close to WWE and they have a long way to go if they want to take the top spot with or without Vince in charge

When WCW vs WWE wars started they had better bigger stars. AEW is missing that instead they have Y2J, Dean Ambrose Cesaro and Daniel Bryan as their top stars, all WWE rejects.
I like what TNA/Impact has done over the years. Built from within. TK seems to want to follow that mold now but he also need Television sponsorship and he will need elevated talent.

Why get WM Morrisey when Braun Strowman is available.
Why sign Taya Valkyrie when Mercedes is available.

I just watched AEW Dynamite and the Blackpool Combat Club just played out my entire argument in the middle of the ring. It's an angle bro. They leaned into that professionals/amateur nonsense because there are people who actually believe that crap like Jim Cornette stans and WWE marks. They're trolling. It's no different from Jericho doing the sports entertainers vs. wrestlers angle. Don't get worked bro.

I know its angle, but my point is TK and the story line is not helping the AEW locker room of looking strong or as if they can stand up to the WWE rejects. Plus to your point the story lines are all recycled they are running the same story with Outcast vs AEW originals but atleast the AEW women will respond.

I think style wise Ricochet can do everything Osprey and Omega can do. He's not as reckless as the Luchadores.
The difference with him and Kenny is Ricochet oversells too much and it makes him less believable when he pops up all of a sudden. Omega is very crafty when he speeds up and slow down his moveset.
I thoroughly enjoyed the following matches
Osprey vs Omega
Omega vs Vikingo
Carmelo vs Ricochet
I wouldn't mind a Osprey vs Ricochet match at Forbidden Door.

This news was also missed. That stadium has a seating capability of 90,000. I would say anything over 40,000 would be a win for AEW. Would be the largest gate they ever did. They would have to put on a supershow involving talents from other promotions to even have a shot at filling that stadium. Basically, every promotion not WWE would have to be involved.
