In case anybody was wondering where the fuck is Miro he's been injured. From my understanding he's back to 100% and Tony is just waiting to put him in a new story.

WWE made bank last year. Product suck but if it's making them a billion every year there's no need to change anything from a creative standpoint. Read an article today explaining this situation and why the product look stale and repetitive.

Money is the main thing for WWE. This is why I'm watching AEW more.

We talked about this a couple of pages back, but they made all that money by cutting back their staff and not traveling.

Question here for everyone.

Who were y'all favorite wrestlers as a kid? Did anyone have an odd unusual wrestler they were fans of?

My faves were Hogan, Macho Man, Sting, Warrior.

My one odd fave was Barry Windham. That superplex and vaulting over for the pin was cool looking.

Sting
Muta
Steiners
Road Warriors
Nikita Koloff
Big Van Vader
Lex Luger
Savage
Ultimate Warrior
4 Horsemen

Odd favorite would have been Sid Vicious or Cactus Jack

Cody is out....or is it just a work?

I was just about to post. Being he has issues with The Elite I'm not surprised. I also don't see him going to WWE knowing Damn well how their system works. Between acting, hosting shows and once said he has political aspirations he was bound to leave. Didn't expect his to leave so soon.

Who knows? I wouldn't understand it if he went back to WWE, it'd be kinda like breaking into a jail.

But then again, between Cody fake retiring, booking himself out of the AEW title picture, and adamantly being against turning heel, Cody seems to like being booked into a box.

Very reminiscent of when his dad went to the WWE after being the head booker of NWA for so many years.
Still, talk about eating humble pie after talking all that shit while he was in AEW, lol.
I guess we have the answer as to who would be the first to jump from AEW to the WWE.
It seems like him and Brandi want to be actors/entertainers more so than wrestlers and he has a better chance of achieving that working for WWW.

Damn, I didn't see this coming!!...But I noticed that the fans wasn't feeling both of them no more and always get booed when they both come out...Also, I heard they had problems with management and with Tony Khan!!1...I wonder if they going back to WWE??...I believe that won't be good for both of them!!

I wonder that Realty Show they had on TBS and He was co hosting that Talent show on TBS as well is going to effect things now that hes gone from AEW??...

Cody going back to WWE.

He's a generational wrestler and I think he milked AEW/TNT all he could and got tired of the indy style shit AEW was doing.

He will surprise folks showing up at WrestleMania.

He's going to be followed by Jericho and in a few years, MJF and others.

I smell a work! Cody and Brandi aren't going anywhere.
Nah, he's gone. It's been clear for a while that he never fit in with the rest of the EVPs and the fans shit on him and his wife constantly.
That would be fine if he was a heel, but he's too hardheaded to read the room and just go with it.
They even made up a fake position for Brandi just so she could have a job there, lol.

I think this is a good move for AEW and shows that TK has the balls to make tough decisions when necessary.
It seemed like for a while he wasn't going to let anyone go from the company and this Cody situation has been the elephant in the room for long enough. Truth be told, they won't be missed.
Not sure if Cody and Brandi will end up in WWE though. If anything, I see them pursuing Hollywood full-time now.

Cody going back to WWE would be the dumbest thing ever.

I can’t see Cody going back to the WWE
Dumbass got a motherfucking AEW tattoo on his neck. He took a lot of shots at the WWE. Of course Vince willing to forgive if it’s main event talent but Vince never viewed him as such. In Vince eyes Cody is American Christian with a lisp.

I’ve been a fan of Cody when he was in the E and criminally underused but he shouldn’t go back to the E.

he stuck in no man’s land
He product of the WWE system and not accepted by Indy fans

he better off trying to do his own version of what Matt Cardona is doing

The only thing that makes sense to me is that this is a legit negotiation thing.

WWE wrestlers do it all the time, like they get on Twitter and tease going to AEW and then use that as leverage to get a better deal. Orton did it with his last deal, and KO just did it a few months ago with the Mount Everest thing.

I think Cody's doing the same thing and MJF will do the same when his contract is up.

The only difference is they just haven't reached an agreement yet. It's still possible they could all reach an agreement within the next few days or the next few weeks and then it's water under the bridge.

Until Cody actually signs with WWE, he's not there yet. It's been reported that he's been in contact with WWE, but he could very well turn down whatever offer WWE gives him, too, and go do some other shit.

But going to WWE should be his last resort, because they don't have shit to offer him but a check and a spot on the mid-card.

The difference here is his deal already expired months ago while those guys got new deals while still under their deals.
The time to use WWE as leverage for a better AEW deal has come and gone.
As an EVP you would think if TK really wanted him and Brandi around he would have extended their deals long before they ran out.
If you really want someone around, you don't let their deal expire. That tells me he's gone and not coming back anytime soon.

His dad ate humble pie after working for the competition (NWA) and went to the WWF back in the day.
I wouldn't be shocked if he did the same.

You really believe that don't you....

Given the money (and visibility) he would earn, the leverage he has (now), the buzz his signing would create and how this would change the landscape of a stale wrestling promotion.....

Going back to WWE would be a VERY smart thing to do.

i disagree wholeheartedly

WWE casual fan base don’t care about AEW or Cody

AEW fans didn’t fuck with Cody so they won’t follow him to WWE (especially since most of their fans are already anti WWE)

Cody wasn’t treated like a main eventer in WWE and wouldn’t be if he returned.

he and his wife are ppl without a country
If he came back to WWE Vince would clown the shit out of him on screen and take shots at AEW by shitting on him.

Sometimes two parties don't come to an agreement in time, that's why baseball is in a lockout right now.

Until he signs pen to paper, they could still reach an agreement. I think they're just at a point where they're calling each other's bluff. Just because you want somebody around that doesn't mean you should let them fleece you.

I think Cody needs to do this because he has the least leverage.

As a main eventer, he's replaceable. They have the talent now, and probably even more coming in, and he's already turned like half the fanbase against him.

As an EVP, he's replaceable, especially now that someone like William Regal is out there, or they could even promote somebody else to that position. The EVPs have already had their roles reduced anyway, Tony makes the final decisions on everything.

I think Tony's just letting Cody see his market value and hoping that makes him come down on his demands when he sees that there ain't really shit out here for him.

Sean Ross Sapp said it was a negotiation issue. Cody has been working without a contract for about a month. Sapp did a live stream when he broke the news and subs asked questions. Some takeaways from the few minutes I watched.
1. Sapp said its not a work.
2. He don't see Cody returning to WWE.
3. He and Brandy will likely continue to negotiate with AEW.
