That ending to the Lesner/Cena match was dumb bad booking.

I disagree. Working that snug and realistic, he hit him in the face with his chain. That's going to knock a guy out and that's before you slam him on the stairs, one of Cena's finishers. Both guys put in work and earned their money.

Chicago, always a great wrestling city anyway, is THE hottest wreslting city in the US today. Not just based on how crazy they are at WWE shows but this same weekend WWE was running Extreme Rules, ROH and CHIKARA held their "Synergy" doubleheader Saturday night.

It's a bad idea to put Cena over when he is going to take some time off. The match itself was fine till the end. Although if he shows up at Raw and Lesner takes him out then its alright. If Cena doesn't show up on Raw at all this was a mistake.

That's what I'm saying. Cena needs to get taken out tonight and go on vacation.

I wonder if Kharma gonna destroy the Bellas bc it's their last night.

They could make up for it by selling the viciousness of the beating and saying he fucked his arm up and has to get surgery.

or

Brock jumps Cena at Raw and puts him out for a few months.

Either way, Brock needs to go on a path of rage for a few months and get at Cena in a rematch down the road.

They could but being that Cena already said that he was taking time off the seriousness of it is already diminished if it were to happen.

Lesnar did well last night as did Cena in their match.

I agree. Cena fucked up by making that speech afterwards. They should have at LEAST turned the cameras off. Maybe that's why he said he knew he'd get in trouble.

I enjoyed the Cena beat down. I'm not a Cena fan but i'll give him props for taking legit hits. I expect Brock to take Cena out tonight. It kinda makes more of an impact to take him out so that everyone see's it.

BTW Brock kicking Cena out the ring was funny as hell.:lol::lol:

In principle, I wholeheartedly agree. If a guy is scheduled to take time off, he should do a job. That is Booking 101 and used to be the main way to book good Loser Leave Town matches back in the day. But I've long given up on WWE doing things like that.
But I'm willing to see what happens tonight before I pass judgement.

That was mistake but, and this is how WWE does it's arithmetic, 3-4 million people watch Raw while a couple hundred thousand, at the most, actually watched the ppv. Even in 2012, relatively few WWE fans actually follow it online outside WWE.com, where they control what's seen.

At this point the WWE should bring back Rey and have Brock take him out. It would show him bullying a smaller guy who is completely over. The fact that Brock took a guy who is returning for the first time would surprise the audience and with Rey being suspended for 60 days anyway it allows the WWE to get some value out of it. And with Brock doing the MMA gimmick they could do it without Rey having to take any type of risky bump if Rey isn't in wrestling shape.

Yeah, that opening line when he said he might get fired for speaking when there wasn't a stipulation like that around that match was confusing.

He said that like Lauranitis was just gone abuse his power and fire Cena for getting on the mic to say he had a good match and thank Chicago. That shit would be stupid as fuck if on Raw, Lauranitis came out and said he was going to fire Cena for that.

And then for him to go on and talk about missing time and taking a vacation and how that shit came out of nowhere. He just foreshadowed how he was going to be off TV for a while and it wasn't necessary.

He can't say he's going away to make a movie, when he's been going at the Rock for the last two years about going away to make movies.

So if they wanted to give Cena the win (for whatever reason) they should've played the injury angle and they should've did it like how Taker and HHH did at last year's WM when Taker won the match but he looked more fucked up the HHH and then disappeared until it was time for him to come back.

It seems like he was trying to have a kayfabe moment, but it just made the story confusing.

He should have waited until the show was over.

But if Cena's going away, who moves up? Punk is the WWE champ but they will be lacking a strong, main event caliber face to go with him. Rey's not coming back so does HHH get back in the ring? Taker looked good at Mania, so does he come back tonight?
Or do they just move Randy back to Raw full time?

Super Cena gets beat up by Doomsday Lesnar, and is temporarily replaced by Black Super Cena until the real Super Cena returns.

It took THREE moves for Cena to win after getting Destroyed

:hmm::hmm::hmm:

To be fair, one of those moves was a punch to face with a chain and the other was his finisher on steel stairs. There have been a lot of matches where one guy gave up most of the match and won with a couple moves, that was Hogan's whole schtick for 15 years.

And frankly, fuck Brock. While they should push him and let him be undefeated for a while, dude has show he's willing to do business. He didn't do a lot of that last time and he's got to prove himself. He's not the Rock. While I thought Cena should have won that match, Rock's earned his keep, paid his dues and the right to walk back into main event spots.
