So, they finally gave Zack the belt. I understand why they did it, but personally I am not sold on this dude just yet. He did put on a decent match tonight...

I just wonder how long they plan to keep the belt on him, if it's longer than three months I'll be suprised

I was sure that D. Bryan would be the first person to lose when trying to cash in. Wonder how long they'll let him him keep it tho.

It's good that Daniel Bryan won the title but I thought they were doing a great job setting things up for him to fight for the title at Wrestlemania and probably win it. Now I think he'll be lucky to make it past the Royal Rumble with the belt and definitely won't make it out of the Elimination Chamber based on the way the WWE is.

:hmm: So much for me taking any M.I.T.B. winner seriously.

Correction: so much for taking any M.I.T.B. winner's title reign seriously.

He's corny to me. I don't get it but its a lot of shit I don't get in the WWE. I like rewarding his hunger but I don't see why he should be forced or hurried into a title.

But whatever. Does this mean Dolph is getting to main even status? That's the only reason I can see giving the title up. If not they about to bury this cat and for no reason.

oh yeah, I always forget about the Elimination Chamber PPV. I agree .... highly doubt he will still be champion on the day after that PPV

Aww man I just got from TLC, that shit was too pumped.

That nigga Ryder had the place rockin in that first match. Dude is mad over, I swear like 75% of the signs were for him. Got to meet Vicki too walking to her car, she's really nice and pretty in real life.

WOO
WOO
WOO!!!!!

YOU KNOW IT:lol:

They really need to do something about the Tag Division. Air Boom needs a dope heel team to feud with. I can remember when they would have more than one tag match on a pay per view, and they were just as good as the main event, sometimes better. ..:smh:

The 2nd team is currently the ROH tag champs so they aren't coming anytime soon. As for the 1rst team, the Kings of Wrestling, Claudio is in FCW wrestling under the name Antonio Cesaro and for whatever reason Chris Hero who was expected to be signed at the same time isn't in FCW and apparently hasn't been signed by the WWE. I hope he does though cause the team is great and individually both are very good.Epico and Primo appear to have good chemistry and the Usos are good but the WWE should have signed the Briscoes last year when they were talking to them and maybe even the Young Bucks earlier this year. Someone questioned their size but ANX wouldn't be bad either.

About that "Impact is better" statement...I said that based on the 3 weeks leading into Final Resolution. Those dirty m'fers had to go and make a liar out of me last night. Angle said he was going to beat up people in Storm's hometown so I expect to see footage of him beating up people in a bar next week and avoiding arrest somehow . Eric Young and O.D.B. are going to tag next week despite Spike T.V.'s policy about violence against women. Yep. Makes sense. :hmm: The British Invasion disbanded because they did. Robbie E. is still getting T.V. time because Zach Ryder is popular at the moment. On the plus side Karen & Jeff Jarrett are supposed to be off of T.V. for a couple of weeks.

Roode's heel turn was definitely a W.T.F. moment. Instead of letting this story play out over 4-6 months they decided to blow through it in 3 weeks. I thought the Triple H as C.O.O. storyline was rushed .

The Jarretts are gone for the foreseeable to work on TNA's India project. I thought it would have been better for him to put over a younger guy like Kazarian than Jeff Hardy before he left.
I hate what they've done to their tag division but neither Bischoff or Russon have seen the value of tag teams and it shows.

That should be the ho tagline from this point on:lol:

They have to end Ziggler-Ryder to start pushing Ziggler, similar to what they did to Miz.

I don't think he was hurried at all. He's been there for years and even as he was getting over, they resisted. I doubt they'll keep the title on him unless he's selling a shitload of merch

As for Mark Henry, that dude was the Superstar of the Year, Wrestler of the Year, whatever you want to call it. He's been working on a badly injured groin and still been busting his ass with Show and Bryan to be entertaining. He ain't Rick Steamboat but he isn't Outback Jack either.
ROH is running WWE right now.

TLC was a decent PPV but the problem with WWE is who are you really going to pay to see? Bryan being champ was nice i guess but i expect the ratings to cool somewhat, and we all know there's nothing going on over on the Raw brand so basically im saying it's universe mode on wwe 12 until Mania:lol:

KEVIN NASH-WWE UPDATE
by Dave Scherer @ 9:19 AM on 12/19/2011

About his match with HHH last night Kevin Nash tweeted: "Thanks Paul, nice to end it with someone I love."

The word backstage was that last night's match with HHH was it for Nash as an active wrestler on the roster, which is good thing.

:hmm:
I'm glad that's the end of seeing Nash in the ring but he's going out without giving anyone "the rub" and that's some irritating shit. He didn't do it in TNA to any great effect and now he's doing it in WWE. The least he can do is get beat by Ezekiel Jackson or even Mason Ryan (:puke:).

You already knew that Nash wouldn't be putting any of the younger guys over. That's the problem with many of the 90s stars. They still think that people should be paying homage to them, by basically laying down in the ring. People like Nash, never see the bigger picture of helping the business by putting over the next guy.

On a side note, did anyone actually watch that match last night. I went to the kitchen to get dinner, figured I wouldn't be missing much.
How was it?

It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't that great either. Just a lot of punching and knees to the stomach. Every time Nash would fall, I kept thinking dude was injured. The matches were all pretty decent last night. I continue to be impressed by Miz. He did a great job. They really have nothing of interest going into Mania. I know it's still early, but I can't think of anything I really want to see other than Rock and Cena. Even with that, if John does not turn heel, I will be pissed. Think about it. What match are they going to do that you have not seen a million times already?

Last night the opening segment was very blah to me simply because every wrestler who's busted his ass on the indy scene has dreamed of being champ so what makes them so special? Also that crowd was not a good barometer for how over DB is simply because until then you could hear crickets, but since they were in ROH country he god a loud pop. If im going to be honest the one guy now who's actually interesting is Rhodes because now that he's wearing kneepads he no longer looks like a stripper, and he's starting to get better on the mic plus he's actually a damn good wrestler.

I totally agree with you on Rhodes. He is a really good heel. I actually would love to see him battle his brother Goldust. Is it a Wrestlemania match, I don't know, but I would like to see it. I wish they would really start working with dope managers again, because there are some lats there who could really go to the next level if they had a Bobby, Jimmy, Or Freddie type at the helm...

It's funny that you said that. Goldust is actually trying to get the writers to come up with something so he can face Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania.

Don't overestimate how big "ROH country" is. They wrestle in front of crowds of hundreds so much of that pop was genuine but aided by some ROH familiarity. I don't think Bryan is as popular as he should be but with the way they've booked him (he's won one significant match since winning MitB before cashing in on an unconscious Big Show) they've hurt him with a lot of WWE fans.
You know I love Cody Rhodes and I'm glad he's wearing kneepads. When you have skinny legs, you should wear kneepads. No facemask, no stupid villain laugh, just let him talk and wrestle and he could be a World/WWE title contender by this time next year.

I don't know about Mania but they could do Cody vs 'Dust as soon as he's finished with the Booker feud.

What the fuck happened to Johnny Curtis' push? He was doing those Zack Ryder rip-off vignettes on Smackdown and now he's on NXT.
Look out for Titus O'Neil. He got a great response at the live show in Charlotte a few weeks ago and, from what I'm hearing, it's continuing at other shows. I don't know what they can do with him but he would be a solid mid card guy who can challenge for the IC title.

DB is who he is i know ROH is big and if i were an indy wrestler i would love to work there, but the fact is firing him after the first Nexus beatdown set him back a long way.

As for Titus and any other black wrestler i feel a black stable would really help put them over, Vince is scared to but he won't hesitate to have an all white stable drop racial jabs(Evolution & Legacy) to be exact. An all black stable coming out to hip hop would have everyone including white people pumped, but i don't think it'll ever happen again. PS: The final Nation theme song was soooooo great:yes::dance:

If you're an indy guy and ROH calls, you better pick up the phone but it's a huge step down from WWE.
Bryan's got a great personality but they need to let him loose so people can get behind him so when he inevitably turns heel, people will really hate him (he's a much better heel).

Seeing how WWE does such a bad job of pushing non-White wrestlers and characters without it being overly stereotypical, I'm almost afraid of seeing what they would do with a Black stable.
Ezekiel Jackson lost to Hunico at the Superstars taping last night. What the fuck did he do to get jobbed out like he has most of the last year? He was IC champ for a minute and has been getting beaten badly ever since by everybody. He's almost in Drew McIntyre country: The Island of Lost Pushes.

But as for them being stereotypical what do you expect from an out of touch white guy? This is where Shane Mcmahon would come in handy because he always knows what's current. The Mayweather/Big Show feud and Tyson/DX storyline was all him yet people praised Vince and Steph has no idea what people want, if she did she would've done porn back in 2003:yes:

Announcer & WWE Part Ways – Dating WWE Star?

Ring announcer Eden Stiles announced late Tuesday night on Twitter that she has parted ways with WWE after asking to be released from her contract three weeks ago.

She wrote, “This was it! 3 weeks ago I asked to be released from my WWE contract. Today was my last day. Sure enjoyed it!! More on the horizon for me.”

Stiles also revealed she is dating Cody Rhodes.

“And…now that I no longer work here I’m glad to finally not “hint” and say that I am 100% Cody’s girl .”

After being a successful model for a few years, Stiles wanted to get back to athletics and found herself at WWE’s development facility, Florida Championship Wrestling in March, where she began training to become a WWE Diva. Stiles, however, was made the ring announcer for WWE Superstars.

Cody pulling all the sistas.:smh:
