The smartest thing they could do is have Punk not only win at Summerslam but win cleanly.Cena doesn't need the title,he doesn't the win either. The same people who cheer him and buy his merchandise will continue to do so.Let him move on to some feuds without the title and let having the title and a solid run elevate Punk at the same time eventually bringing in some of his people(Cabana and the Kings of Wrestling) to be solid additions to the roster and get over initially by being affiliated with Punk.Eventually what they bring to the table will take care of the rest.

So far, KOW hasn't re-signed with ROH so it looks like they're on the way. I would be surprised if they kept them together seeing how they hate tag teams.

Anybody else gonna eat Abdullah's Rib Shack now?

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/...-of-famer-facing-multi-million-dollar-lawsuit

According to ProWrestling.Net and an article on the NetNewsLedger blog, WWE Hall of Famer and hardcore wrestling legend Abdullah the Butcher is about to get into some legal wranglings.

Former independent wrestler Devon Nicholson is filing a $6.5 million lawsuit in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice against The Madman from the Sudan for charges of assault, battery and negligence under the claim that Abdullah gave him Hepatitis C during a 2007 cage match the two wrestled in.

According to testimony from Nicholson, Abdullah had bladed several times during their match with his blood soaking the razor blade and used the same blood-soaked blade on Devon without his consent leading to Abdullah's blood to enter the blood stream of Devon's body.

When Devon was offered a contract with the WWE in 2009, the company turned him down after discovering he had tested positive for Hepatitis C.

The risk of disease coming from blood thanks to blading has become a concern in recent years for professional wrestling, which led to the WWE to ban blading back in 2008 when the company adopted their new TV-PG rating.

However, some had criticized the WWE's nomination of Abdullah to their Hall of Fame considering his infamy for bloody matches and the company's stance on banning blading during matches.

Around the time the Hall of Fame occurred, a Youtube documentary called Don't Bleed on Me premiered which covered Devon's story on how his wrestling career fell apart and claims Abdullah was responsible for it.

All I will say about this news is that it is quite likely gonna put the WWE in some hot water considering they nominated Abdullah despite his not so family-friendly image and being a hot-button topic to cover in the ongoing weeks over whether or not blading is worth it anymore in a time where the pro wrestling industry has become increasingly conscious about the risks involved with taking part in hardcore matches, especially when blading is involved.

This wouldn't affect whether I would or wouldn't. He had a cage match with Abby in 2007 but wasn't diagnosed with Hep C until 2009. That's a lot of time to have gotten it from somewhere else. He would have a hard time proving it without proving Abby has Hep C.

btw
The restaurant is like a wrestling museum and fun just to be in but avoid the mac and cheese. It's not good at all.

Bring them in together initially.Keep them together as a tag team while allowing them to wrestle at times in singles matches and that have them both go solo. They've broke up before and had a good rivalry they can do so again. And then the main decision would be whether Claudio is to be a heel or face and have hero be the opposite since he is a good enough promo guy and varied enough in the ring to fit either role.

Sounds good to me but I have a hard time seeing them not use Claudio as a singles off the bat.

I say they pull a story line from the past and work it over a bit. Have Punk get jumped, and injured bad from it. This will explain why he is off of TV for awhile. Since Triple H did this to Austin before, for weeks everyone will think it's him. It will end up being Cena who did it. Saying that he couldn't take a chance on Punk beating him again and ruining the company he loved. Telling Punk that if it wasn't for him, he would have never been reinstated, but instead of thanking him for that he turned on him. He goes into this whole "I hate you Punk" type of speech. Could be dope..

This would no doubt be the Cena heel turn some has talked about for a while, nice storyline but Vince isn't about to turn Cena yet.

It's like they're acting like they haven't had The Rock in every game as an unlockable character since he stopped wrestling  Really, THQ?

The thing is that the fans have been asking for the Rock to be updated for years. They've been putting the attitude era Rock in every game well after Rock cut his hair and got the samoan tattoo.

The problem is they keep taking away moves and replacing them with clothesline #1000, this past rock sucked because they took away alot of his signature moves which made him like ever other wrestler. IMO the best Rock versions were SYM & HCTP that clapping after hitting the suplex had me rollin because he actually did all that shit to goldberg at backlash 03.

Yeah that was the heel Rock in the game. He also had a clothesline animation where he pointed at his had meaning he out smarted you ( He did that in his last match with Austin at WM ). They've been taking out moves for years. There was really no point of using the Hogan I downloaded because they took out his hulk up and leg drop. HCTP was the best game THQ/Yukes ever put out.

I think No Mercy was the best one they've ever put out(super ddt onto the ring bell was my favorite), but i think HCTP was the better in depth game although SYM will always be the best imo.

Will the tristate be able to watch roh on TV come Aug 13? I never heard of the Sinclair channel they talk about...

Abdullah the Butcher Sued Over Alleged Hepatitis C Transmission
Posted by Larry Csonka on 07.29.2011

Details inside…

- Canadian independent wrestler Devon "Hannibal" Nicholson has filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against WWE Hall of Famer Abdullah the Butcher. In the lawsuit, it claims that Abdullah infected him with hepatitis C after blading him without Nicholson's consent. Nicholson went public with this back in March, around the time that Abdullah was being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Nicholson further claims that the diagnosis of the disease caused WWE to rescind a contract offer.

Abdullah has publicly denied that he has hepatitis C. Nicholson now works as a personal trainer, and is claiming that the diagnosis of hepatitis C has led to depression, severe headaches, nausea, weight loss, and numbness in his limbs. Also, many relatives, including his parents and brother are also suing, seeking $40,000 each in damages

How can a wrestler get bladed without consent? I seen hundreds of matches in which opponents did not get bladed by Abdullah.

No Mercy is the best overall wrestling game ever. Aki did developed the two WWF games and the WCW/NWO Revenge. Funny thing about those games was when someone like Austin or Goldberg got busted their was reaction to blood was to get aggressive. If I busted one of them open I knew the grits were about to hit the pan.

Why bring back Morrison to have him do a clean job?

Damn, I've been bitching about WWE and TNA's use of handicap matches and having the tag team lose so of course the first guy I can remember to lose a handicap match in forever is Ezekiel Jackson, the Intercontinental champion. So can we say his push is officially over?

I doubt it. He used to be really fat and if they wanted a bad ass fat dude they could have hired Samoa Joe and already have Husky Harris.
Steen is awesome.

You think TNA would pick him up? A feud with Joe would be dope! By the way, who did Joe piss off? This dude hasn't won a match in months...:smh:

A Steen-Joe feud would be dope primarily if they let them have lengthy matches. The only issue is may be that both of them are best as I don't give a fuck type heels who will destroy anybody. That's how Joe started in TNA and that is how Steen was last year during the feud with Generico, who TNA looked at and didn't bring in.
Right now TNA is showing with Joe how you can destroy a great wrestler with horrible storylines, bad match planning and lack of focus. They are also proving that you can push the hell out of a guy like they're doing with Crimson but it doesn't mean that anybody will care.

He just re-upped so I'm hoping that there is a plan for this. Otherwise, I see him quitting soon.

Have you dudes seen TNA lately?!? They've turned Sting into damn Joker:smh:

You might not like it but it's getting Sting better responses than he's gotten in a long time so it's working. I think it's a fresher look for him than his still working the "Crow" gimmick.

If I was Triple H, Samoa Joe would be a person I would sign, as well as Kevin Steen. If he's smart, he'll bring back the attitude era. The fans want it so bad. TNA had a shot, but the show is so garbage now. I started watching when they had Jim Cornett as the general manager, and it was dope. Now, I can't even watch a whole show...:smh:

 true I just wish they would tone him down just a little bit.
