Hopefully that was a 1 time thing last night, because if they try to make him a corny heel then it shows me they're scared of having a strong black heel character because in reality a real brotha would destroy cena.

They're scared of having a strong heel, period. The only heels that get pushed strong are the most politically connected ones: JBL, HHH, Taker, Orton.

The whole "secession" is probably just a one-off thing to play to the Richmond crowd, whom naturally would react to it the most. They are still playing him as the crazy nigga...

Being that I'm now living in corny ass Virginia, I actually agree with you on that.

I just wish they don't have him so damn corny. They kinda making it like he's afraid to fight Cena now. Then again, they probably saving the best stuff for the PPV.

That's how they book their heels and it'shurting their business.

Not to mention

1. Taking away crowd signs & then replacing them with pre-made ones.

2. Editing out cheers for heels and boos for faces (smackdown)

3.Turning Cena into hulk hogan (Fine in the 80's death in the 00's

4. Afraid to push mid-card talent

5. Terrible PPV (UFC kinda hurts but alot is self inflicted)

6. Making entertainment a priority over wrestling (you don't add additions onto a house if the foundation is cracked)

7. Not enough diversity (Too many white people LOL)

8. CENA CENA CENA - When the face of the company dresses like a kid & has a belt designed for a kid or barbie's first title belt(Real championship belts don't spin) then it makes your company look like a joke.

Everything they criticized WCW for they're doing the same exact thing.

Ya know, I always suspected that they did that shit! Some of those signs had looked too convenient for a lot of the "surprise" wrestlers that pop up during a show!

2. Editing out cheers for heels and boos for faces (smackdown)
I didn't even know they did that. I bet that pissing off a lot of the heeels on Smackdown.

Sometimes it amazes me that the WWE is the top wrestling organization, with all the chicanery that occurs there!

I agreed with all your points but this one struck a nerve. Vince has been turning into all the people he put out of business for 15 years.
He used to criticize the old promoters for always putting themselves and their kids and friends over and he did the exact same thing. All the McMahons but Linda have been champions, with Vince having won the Royal Rumble and the WWF title and had big main events at Mania. JBL became a main eventer because he was Vince's boy. HHH needs no explanation. How is he different from Verne Gagne or Fritz Von Erich?

That's what happens when your competition kills itself.

1. Sometimes the spoilers are out on the internet so people come equipped with the sign.

2. They've been doing that for a loooonnnngggg time. I remember the 92 Rumble when Sid dumped Hogan and they had a face off after Flair had won it. The fans were going crazy for Sid and booing the shit out of Hogan. But when they replayed it that Monday night, the fans were booing Sid. It was so pathetic I

Who else could challenge them? ROH did not have the bankroll to come even close and TNA has horrible booking, not to mention their production just looks terrible compared to WWE's.

JBL was a great talker but he was an awful champion, truth be told HHH first 2 reigns were fin but after that it was "nap time" when it came to his matches.

MAn off top do you know the last heel to get a clean win at a PPV for a title? Unbelievable. Either you lose or you cheat to win. I don't understand why the WWE doesn't see that it would benefit their product to have a heel on the same level as Cena? They got this nigga on some Kryptonite type shit that he can't be touched unless he's cheated.

And JBL just came from nowhere, with a brand new gimmick and was made champ, that hurt him imo.
HHH was always a good wrestler and deserved to be champ most of the time but with Shane and Steph winning titles and Vince winning and never losing the title and him marrying Stephanie, it always put a shadow on him in a lot of fans minds and to a degree, it was unfair.

I'm with you. Flair cheated to win but he was never booked to look like he had no business in the ring with the other guy. The fact that WCW did big business with Big Van Vader beating Sting and Ron Simmons and all their top babyfaces 1-2-3 proves that it can work. Sure he cheated to win a lot too but he also won clean and it made him look like a monster.

when Sheamus beat Cena for the title in the table match wouldn't that be considered a clean win ?

No because if you see it it looks like a complete fluke. They're on the top rope with Cena trying to give a superplex.A bit of struggle and then the match ends with Cena blatantly jumping into and through the table while Sheamus falls off the ropes outside of the ring.

Haven't been in here in a while. I didn't realize people on the net were this upset about R Truth. I'm kinda conflicted on the whole angle.

On one hand, people are right about them going to far in one direction where no one can take him seriously. I doubt a real championship push is coming out of this.

On the other hand, he is the ONLY thing worth watching to me. Dude had me actually laughing hard on Monday. That's something that no one else on their roster comes close to.

I could be completely wrong about this, but I honestly think it comes down to merc sales. In the world we live in where everything is connected and cross promoted into everything else, they are probably making as much in merc sales as they're making in ticket and ppv sales.

Simple put, Cena moves merchandise. When they do the wide out shots of the arena, you see more Cena and Orton shirts than all the other people on the roster combined. Money moves the world and the little Jimmy's are the main fan base now. They are the ones that get their parents to pay $40 dollars on a ticket AND THEN get them to spend another $60 inside on a t shirt, a foam hand, a Cena chain, a Cena spinner belt, and the latest Cena DVD. WWE doesn't want him to lose clean and look weak .... EVER ! It might hurt his t shirt sales.

I see what you're saying but they could sell more merch with strong heels (the nWo sold a ton of stuff) and the one time Cena really had most of the audience behind him was when he was at a disadvantage against the Nexus. Babyfaces in jeopardy make people spend money to see them overcome the dastardly heel, that's Wrestling Booking 101. Hogan was superman of course but he got jumped on and beat up by King Kong Bundy, looked like the underdog against Andre the Giant and was even put out of action by Earthquake. I remember him getting beaten up by Zeus, ZEUS!, on a Saturday Night Main Event to build toward SummerSlam.
I'm not saying Cena needs to be jobbed out every month but they need to do more angles like when Miz was trashing him and leaving him laying almost every week building up to Mania. Miz dominating that feud was shocking and made Miz a credible guy. That's how you build a top heel and get sympathy for Cena, something a face needs.

Vince up to some shenanigans right here :smh:

Details on the Mark Henry Incident, Vince's Involvement
Date Added: June 06, 2011
Story By: Marc Middleton
- As noted earlier in the week, a strange incident happened with Mark Henry after Tuesday's SmackDown tapings where he was sent out for a dark main event and waited for around 20 minutes while several theme songs hit but no opponent came out.

Word going around WWE is that the whole thing was a big rib on Henry to see how long he would stay in the ring before getting mad and storming off, which he did. Henry was actually told that he would be wrestling a dark main event against Sin Cara. He and Cara actually called spots for their match earlier in the evening.

Henry was sent to the ring and when he went to cut a promo to set up Cara's entrance, the mic was cut out. Henry finally stormed to the back and demanded to know what was going on. Vince McMahon's theme song was the last one played during the rib, which is fitting because the whole thing was Vince's personal joke on Henry.

Vince had already left the arena but according to a source, he directed the entire thing via cell phone. A source in WWE production adds that producer Kevin Dunn was in on the whole thing also, laughing as it was going on.

The impression left backstage among the other talents was that it was funny, but misplaced. The feeling was that it's one thing to pull a joke on one wrestler from another, but when WWE is doing the jokes it sends a bad message, especially when they are ribbing a veteran like Mark Henry. It was also pointed out how WWE shouldn't have pulled a joke on Henry at the fans expense who had to sit through it and were expecting a match.

What a fucked up way to do veteran talent who does nothing but work hard for you and your paying fans who were expecting a dark match. :smh: I don't see Henry resigning when his contract is up. He's been making noise about retiring for a while and I think he might go through with it.

Vince has truly lost his mind. Easily the most pointless rib I've ever heard of.

Im guessing vince overheard people telling stories of Owen Hart (The king of ribs) and he decided he could do them better, im joking but with vince that could actually be true:smh:

I think the problem is that WE (the audience) probably don't know about even half of Owen's pranks because that's something that people mostly do backstage. That's not even singular to WWE. Staff plays pranks on each other in any organization from the AT&T, WWE, to the fucking FYE at your local mall. The thing that they don't do is playing pranks in front of the customers. Especially not for 20 minutes.

They didn't even explain it to the audience afterwards. If you were in the audience that night and you're not plugged into certain websites and know where to find this information, you wouldn't even know what the hell happened.

Am I the only one that thinks they are moving way to fast with the new game. Seems like they had a bunch of unfinished ideas that they rushed out E3 and they're going to rush out an unfinished product to make the release date.

If they really want to revamp the series, they should pull a NBA Live and take a year off. Really take some time and make a brand new game instead of changing the control, tweaking the graphic engines, and calling it new.

:dunno: IMO

They need to get these jerks off of it and give it to someone who respected what AKI did for the genre...imagine how good these games would be today

It looks like 2011:angry: And i don't care what anyone says but wrestlemania 21 was/is still the best looking game they've ever made. The gameplay was average but from the arenas to the wrestlers that game had every other one wrestling game beat.

We talk about Vince and Kevin Dunn's douchebag move on Mark Henry but TNA makes sure to stay neck and neck with their obviously political firings of Mick Foley and Tommy Dreamer. Is it a coincidence that they got fired just as Bischoff gains more political clout in TNA management? Why let them go now when you're actually using both of them on tv more than you had in months? Tommy just got a heel turn and beat AJ Styles.
I like Dixie Carter and she's the public relations stuff down for the most part, which she should since that's her background. But she's not a wrestling person and keeps falling for every snakeoil salesman taht gets in her ear.

At this point I don't care when it comes to TNA because it's obvious that as long as she's in charge the ship will never be righted. The sale of ROH to Sinclair should have been a blatant message to TNA that they need to get their shit together and to get it together now.Instead,as usual, they are allowing political crap effect the in ring product and complicate things.I hope that they'll be happy claiming that TNA is the #3 company in the U.S. a year and a half from now.

My nly beef with TNA is that it's always the same plot with them clowns.

-New megafaction
-Ownership/Management dispute
-Member from megafaction turns face and forms face faction
-Factions brawl
-New HNIC is crowned

Repeat...

Everytime I turn on that mess it the same shit just new faces, it's grown old, which is why they lose viewers.

-Fire Bishoff
-Replace Carter
-Get Hogan and Flair the fuck off TV
-Make Jeff Jerrett STFU and become a wrestler and not a topdog
-For God's sake tell Angle to have some kind of balls and get his ex-wife off television embarassing his kids
