SVR 11 wasn't that bad, the physics system was great for online. Most of my online matches didn't have any lag. Nothing like setting up a ladder, table, chair, stairs and slamming someone into them. WWE Universe mode need to be redone. Miz was the WWE champ at one point and also the number one contender for the IC title. The ranking needs to be fixed. They should bring back the weight detection. In Here Comes The Pain you could only pick up someone one weight class higher thaan you.

I hated creating stables only to have them break up minutes later, it was a great idea but seriously they had some wack ass teams being created. I would also like for them to make good on legends of wrestlemania because the only good thing about that game were the video packages for the wrestlemania tour mode.

They let you create stables on there? That game was pretty gameplay wise. But when I play wrestling games I like the different modes. One thing that's alway s bugged me about those games is that they never let you create your own NWO or DX type stable and go through like a season mode with them with storylines and cut scenes.

You could make a tag team/stable with anybody who wasn't already in a stable. But it was fucked up because if your team were the champions, they would come out individually instead of together.

URBAN WRESTLING FEDERATION DESCENDING UPON NYC TOMORROW, FIRST PPV TAPING THIS FRIDAY
by Mike Johnson @ 7:26 PM on 5/30/2011

The Urban Wrestling Federation will begin filming vignettes and additional material tomorrw in the New York City area and all through this week leading up to their debut "First Blood" PPV taping 6/3 at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.
The three hour PPV will debut on Sunday 6/26 at 8 PM with an 11 PM replay. Interesting to see that the show is being taped with such a quick turnaround time. I am also told that ALL the PPV providers - InDemand, DirecTV, Dish Network, etc. will be presenting the PPV at the exact same time, which shows there is interest from the providers in giving the project the best possible opportunity to succeed.

In matches already announced for the UWF title tournament as part of the PPV taping

*Homicide vs. Eddie Kingston.

*Rich (formerly Ricky) Ortiz vs. Rashe Brown.

*Facade vs. Bestia 666.

*Slyck Wagner Brown vs. Ricky Reyes.

The four winners will go into a four way to determine the inaugural UWF champion.

Other matches confirmed for the taping are:

*The SAT vs. Lance Lude & Brian XL.

*Willie Mack vs. Sabian vs. Famous B vs. Scorpio Sky.

I know I'm dreaming but I think British Invasion should win the tag titles at Sacrifice. They have Alex Shelley filling in for Bobby Roode so BI could win without Beer Money doing a job putting BM in the position of chasing when Roode comes back. But I know Russo and Bischoff don't believe in the British Invasion so I don't see it happening. I hope I'm wrong.

And there ya have it, Honestly when they did the whole wrestling matters they should have gotten rid of those 2 because they add nothing, and they let shit from their wcw days effect what they do now.

That wouldn't be a bad idea but they have done absolutely nothing to build up the British Invasion since they got back together just like they did a horrible job building up Magnus and Desmond Wolfe when they were teaming.Regardless this angle feels like a slight retread of what they did years ago with America's Most Wanted and Triple X when somebody got hurt 1 of the members of the other team took their place and then they won the titles forcing their partners to team up and face them later on.

It was okay and every now and then your partner would turn on you and become your rival/enemy. I downloaded both members of LOD, Steiners, New Age Outlaws. Besides the horrible ranking system, I hated that when ever you put two faces agimst each other one will almost likely turn heel after the match saying ______ turn his back on the WWE universe.

If you played HHH RTW on SVR 10, they had a story where you could choose to join HBK to reunite DX and bring back Evolution with Orton Batista & Flair.

The story mode has gone down hill every since they added voice overs for the wrestlers. They should make the universe mode some what like the career mode for HCTP ( Second best wrestling game ever behind No Mercy ).

That's the problem with Hogan and Bischoff, and to a lesser extent Russo: they didn't watch the product before so they have no idea what TNA fans have already seen.
I don't have a problem with retread angles, wrestling has always done that, but that particular one isn't old enough yet to try again.
I agree Magnus and Wolfe weren't built long enough but I think a good three month feud with the Machine Guns would have helped that out, similar to the LAX-Daniels and Styles feud from a couple years ago. LAX went from a non-factor to the hottest heels and tag team in the business and the feud with Daniels and Styles was incredible.

I swear I think "Wrestling Matters" was a way for Bischoff and Russo to swerve us. They had one pretty good Impact! and a good ppv with a lot of wrestling but since then it's business as usual with a LOT of Hulk and Eric and now Mick Foley talking.

At this point I wish that TNA would just give the job of booker to Scott D'Amore who was great at running the Knockouts division.Give it to him and bring in Adam Pearce who did a good job booking ROH and have them do it.They can't be any worse than the current guys and would provide some freshness while not being completely foreign to TNA.

I believe bischoff admitted on a radio show that the whole "wrestling matters" theme was more of a cosmetic thing than an actual shift in philosophy.

For some reason i always liked shut your mouth over here comes the pain. I know HCTP had way more features but the wrestlers looked too small and the legends really didn't add much imo.

I was thinking just how many black wrestlers for the WWE since the 90's to now, has never held a title at some point during there WWE stint.

Here's the ones I can remember.

Flash Funk/Too Cold Scorpio
Bad News Brown ( not sure if he was ever IC champ )
Viscera/Mable's partner in Men On A Mission ( They may have held the tag titles but i'm not sure )
Vergil
Junk Yard Dog
Zeus
Elajah Burke/The Pope
Monty Brown ( only there for a few months due to family reasons )
Ezekiel Jackson ( Won't be long before he gets the IC title )

Who else I'm I forgetting?

Bringing in Pearce and using Bubba Ray would be great since they're young guys who appreciate old school sensibilities.

MOM held the tag titles for a hot second and Mabel did win King of the Ring.

On another note
TOP NAME LOOKS TO BE DONE WITH TNA, ALTHOUGH HIS CONTRACT HAS A FEW MONTHS TO GOby Mike Johnson @ 9:56 AM on 6/4/2011

All signs point to the announcement that Mick Foley had been "fired" on Impact Wrestling as his storyline exit from TNA. I am told that while Foley's deal with the company expires in September, internally, he was pretty much considered done and wouldn't be back.
It was pretty obvious based on Foley's Twitter comments (referring to TNA house shows as "Empty Arena Matches", among others) that he likely knew he was towards the end of that run.

While it was never spoken publicly, there was a sense of disenchantment and frustration from both sides about the relationship. TNA never really tapped into or promoted many of Foley's outside passion projects, while some within the company dismissed him as being hard to work with.

Again, TNA brings in somebody and does get the best use of them. Mick had some good moments in TNA but they still never used him to his fullest.
So, if Vince is looking for more HoF main eventers, here's one right here.

R Truth was funny as hell apologizing to the soda and shit.He has been awesome since his heel turn.

A couple of the Tough Enough girls were looking ripe for the picking tonight though I did notice that Miss USA didn't show up.

first Foley left TNA now this:

Posted by Corbin Nordhoff on 06/06/2011 at 04:10 PM

Just days after news getting out that Mick Foley will be leaving TNA, Tommy Dreamer posted the following on Twitter:

"If u need a reason 2 go 2 TNA shows on 6/10 Marion, Ill & 6/11 Memphis TN. They will b my last 2 apperances for TNA.Come say goodbye. Thnx"

My little R-Truth rant from another thread...

I mother fucking knew it! Vince got Truth going totally in the wrong direction!:angry:

They should have him more serious and militant, like how he was in TNA when he won the championship. Instead they got him like some fucking goof, shucking and jiving in front of the world, while wack ass white wrestlers make fun of him.

How come nobody else in that fucking ring was dressed like some damn fool, making stupid ass faces like some half-wit?

Because they were fucking white, that's why! WWE had a chance to do something great for the black wrestlers all around the world. Instead they once again help black people take another step backward in this racist society!
:angry::angry::smh::smh::smh::angry::angry:

What y'all think! I know he's funnier now, but do you guys like this version of R-Truth where Vince got him like some dumb coon or the old TNA Truth where he was deadly serious about black wrestlers getting a championship push?

Unless they pull off the shocker of a lifetime, I personally think this storyline will guarantee that no black wrestlers will ever win the championship in the WWE for years to come.

:smh::smh::smh:

I would chalk it up as more corny than anything...if you play the character too far in any one direction it can be construed as stereotypical. The whole "secession" is probably just a one-off thing to play to the Richmond crowd, whom naturally would react to it the most. They are still playing him as the crazy nigga but will probably introduce different elements to it. Wrestling business-wise I don't think he could be in a better position.

Yo what's up with Da Pope, is he still in TNA? At first I was like :hmm: at dude but now that kat have me :roflmao3:

He's still there and feuding with Devon on Xplosion. Another ball dropped by TNA. That guy is world title contender.

Precisely. If they back it down a little, Truth could be the next big heel. But that's meant for Alberto Del Rio and Miz.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I see Otunga and Jackson as guys Vince will get behind.

Hopefully that was a 1 time thing last night, because if they try to make him a corny heel then it shows me they're scared of having a strong black heel character because in reality a real brotha would destroy cena.
