Id rather watch a Cena - Rock match at mania then watch The Miz mainevent. Watching him wrestle is painful, he's never even come close to having a remotely good match & the idea that he's a legitimate champion when he's defended his title against Jerry Lawler 3 times already including a ppv.

If the WWE has a feud between Cena & The Rock headline either mania or summerslam could be one of the biggest feuds in years.

I have to strongly disagree on Miz's ability and the quality of his matches. Dude has worked hard and has turned himself into a solid worker and great promo.
His feud with Jerry Lawler isn't his fault, he and Lawler are doing what they're told. It's not a real competition where he can pick his opponents.

^^^ LMAO oh shit Scott Steiner has ALWAYS been like that?! I barely remember him talking ever until he became Big Poppa Pump

Like Steve Austin, Paul used to let guys real personalities shine through even if they had a character and Scott Steiner was one. They didn't stay long but when Steiner was cutting promos on Shawn Michaels and Johnny B. Badd, I was :lol:

what i think should happen is let the cena an miz thing go an let rock come to mania an beat the undertaker an end his streak.that will blow the rock threw the roof,i mean he is already bog yes but that will blow the mania threw the roof...great start of his new career..

Nah. The only way they should end The Streak is to boost a new younger wrestler. The Streak shouldn't end to any of the old heads like HHH or Kane or outside celebrities like Dwayne Johnson (sorry but The Rock's been gone and he's back to promote his movies).

The Rock doing it would be a complete overkill. He's already achieved a lot, and he doesn't plan to wrestle a lot, if at all. Him beating the Undertaker would take away what it would mean if somebody did break the streak.

They need a young guy, strong, believable, good worker, with good mic skills and a good finisher, and I don't think they have him yet. Personally I think it should be someone who wrestles more technical than jump and fly all over the place like Kofi, Morrison and Daniel Bryan. They need like a young Kurt Angle kind of guy to do it. The story would make sense - a young guy, never had a title shot, longs to be taken seriously as a wrestler so he wants to do something that's never been done - beat Taker at WM. He beats him and he starts getting title shots, respect from other wrestlers, fans, and his career just takes off, maybe even start his own WM streak.

It would mean something as opposed to somebody already established doing it.

I'll assume that's a typo, as Daniel Bryan is about as technical as they come in the WWE. He is filling the void that once went to Chris Benoit.

Yeah you're right, I take that back. He does do some technical wrestling, I forgot he was schooled by William Regal.

So now The Network is involved in TNA? Damn, Russo isn't satisfied stealing from ECW in the mid 90s now he's stealing from their run on TNN.

Wait, it is the same network, huh?

Fire Russo!

okay enuff with Bitch-off!!!!! Why is he the head of a WRESTLING group?? The champ should be the mouth and Bitch-off should be off tv as much as possible, he seems to open every fucking show! no more with this shit. Fire him, russo, and Hogan and start the fuck over. have a loser leaves tna match and get rid of them

Couldn't agree more. Hardy should be in front all the time.

I'm not a fan of Booker's work as a color commentator. Part of it is him having to play off Cole's grating character but he's not doing as well as Striker was in that role. Hopefully, he'll improve as Taz did.

WWE's page on Black wrestlers in kind of cool

The Rock destroying Cena and Cole was priceless, but there was one other thing that I noticed that no body brought up so far.

I'm not feeling the Rock's new music. The Rock theme is like the NWO theme .... the best part are the ad-libs.

They completely took out all the ad-libs and turned up the guitars :smh: I was waiting for the "The Rock going take your little cd, dust it off, turn it sideway, it stick it straight up your candy ass."

The music was aight, it was better than the heel theme

The 99-2001 version was the best one  :

I don't doubt that Miz is a solid worker but not good enough to main event the biggest show of the year.:smh:
I believe over time Miz and guys like Morrison should be in the main event regularly but not yet. I can't recall one stand out match the Miz has had since being given this push.
They have all these dirt sheet reports saying the main event is going to be HHH vs Taker and if that's true that shows you how little faith they have in both of their title matches because if the WWE would rather push a match with two old, coming off of major injuries wrestlers over title matches with the Miz and Del Rio. That tells me they don't expect them to be great matches.

His feud with Lawler isn't his fault but it shows a lack of faith or direction that going into mania you're feuding with a semi retired announcer. The Miz smells of transition champion, since he's one the title he's defended it against Randy Orton( 2x), Morrison (as the opening match on Raw no less) and The King:hmm:

Miz has had good to almost great matches with Bryan, Morrison, and Lawler since this push started when he won MitB. Plus, and this is major for WWE, he cuts good to great promos every week.

That's not the message you should be receiving. Everyone expects Edge-Del Rios to have a good one and Miz and Cena might. HHH and Taker, if they do that (which is not a lock), would be done to have a major drawing card for 70k football stadium and the biggest ppv of the year. The match can't be any better than decent but it's a marquee match the title matches can't match.

The Lawler feud has less to do with Miz than Vince looking out for Lawler, building a new heel champ, and without sacrificing anyone else they could use in the future.
He's definitely going to lose to Cena but this will be the first of many title runs by Miz, very similar to Edge's first title run.

If anyone beats the Undertaker we should riot

The man has been a solid performer and a true work horse for the company for over 20 years.

I think he has earned the right to retire undefeated.

I just don't see it like that. The best thing Taker could do is insist on putting over a young guy at Mania. Not HHH or Cena or Orton but a Barrett or Sheamus or Ezekiel Jackson. That's that new WWE style of thinking that a guy goes out without building up a young guy in the process.

I did use to think like that, but the problem is that there is not one up and coming young guy that I think deserves to be the one to beat him.

The mid card in the WWE is at a all time low right now. I would rather see Taker leave undefeated than see the Taker lose to a young guy, then the WWE completely fucks up the push for that person and the win over the Taker becomes meaningless.

Exactly, There is no reason for the Taker to lose at mania, the streak will never happen again, so why fuck with it.

Breaking "The Streak" would never be meaningless just because it would come up each time the guy wrestled at a Mania.
I take Sheamus off the list since he's won King of the Ring and won the title and beat HHH. But Barrett, Jackson, and even Punk still need big wins as heels. Also Del Rio and Ziggler. I don't hold creative ineptness against the talent.

The Streak can happen any time they want. This one was an accident. Edge had his own streak until he lost to Taker.
