The Good And Bad of Dynamite ...

The Good
The Elite/House Of Black segment (It was short but I loved the visual of it. At "Revolution" put the Trios belts on House of black. TK don't fuck it up. House Of Black losing will bury them once again. Have the Elite lose so Kenny can go back to singles competition and the Bucks can go back to tag teams. They don't need the Trios belts.)

Casino Ladder match (Match of the night. Really enjoyed this. Sammy, Kommander, Hobbs, and Takeshita all looked great in this match. Some insane spots. As soon as they said Hobbs was in his hometown I knew he was winning it. He'll be facing the winner of Samoa Joe and Wardlow.)

Christian Cage segment (I thought I would be bored but this actually was a good segment.)

Bryan Danielson promo (Fantastic promo. Looking forward to the match at "Revolution". )

The Bad

Big Bill vs. Orange Cassidy
(The ending ruined this match for me. Cassidy played mind games early trying to avoid Big Bill but then Big Bill engaged and dominated Cassidy. I didn't care for the table spot because that should be a DQ but the refs in AEW is so forgiving on interference and things of that nature they let too much shit go. No reason in the world Cassidy should be beating Big Bill clean. You want to keep Cassidy over fine but don't beat a guy like Bill clean. This is the crap I hate about TK's booking. Keep your monster heels strong.)

Peter Avalon vs. Chris Jericho
(Why? Waste of airtime.)

Matt Hardy vs. HOOK
(YAWN!)

Toni Storm vs. Riho
(I usually enjoy Riho matches but they overbooked this around Saraya, Britt, Ruby, Jamie shenanigans. Took the steam right out of the match.)

Casino Tag Team Royale
(WTF! TK actually booked Orange Cassidy and Danhausen to win this match. I'm at a loss for words at how stupid this was. I understand that Cassidy is a top merch seller but damn man you're pushing him too hard.)

Overall outside of the Casino Ladder match this show was trash. TK seriously needs to hand the booking duties over to someone who knows how to book. This is ridiculous.

Tony is living his childhood dream. He isn't giving it up for anything. Besides he's Booker of the Year!!

Good to see that Powerhouse Hobbs was back on Dynamite for the 1st time this year after beating Ricky Starks in their feud while Starks went from losing his feud to Hobbs to fighting for the title to this horrible feud with Jericho but unlike Hobbs he's been on Dynamite damn near every week.

Can we go ahead and drop the Omos angle too.

Brock v Bobby @ Mania. Just keep it simple.

Bray is all presentation and Omos is greener than diarrhea turtle shit on fresh cut grass.
Bray vs Omos is better than Omos vs Brock and Bobby vs Bray

Would help her tremendously. Will TK allow her to do it is another story. Need to end the streak and get the TBS title off of her then send her ass to Japan. Imagine how dominate Jade would be if she developed into a great worker.

If she's willing to do it, why not. Could be a way to tease her and Mercedes as well. Eventually they would have the TBS Champ and the Women's champ square off, and that could be the night Jade returns.

This actually happened in TV?

Hobbs grabbed the wrong ladder which was too short so he improvised. He definitely should've grabbed another ladder. The refs also improvised in holding the ladder so Hobbs wouldn't bust his ass. People were going back and forth about this on Twitter. I've seen enough wrestling to know it's not foreign for refs to hold ladders for wrestlers. I've seen it in WWE at some point in time. Overall it didn't ruin the match for me. It was still a fantastic match.

Doesn't make the AEW ladder match video look any less ridiculous....

This doesn't make any sense. Britt and Jamie aren't babyfaces. They're heels who get babyface pops. Britt and Jamie still do interference heel shenanigans in matches. There's no reason to cut Rebel from the group.

She should replace Vicky Guerrero and valet Nyla Rose and Marina Shafir. Instead of removing her they should have had her turn on them to get Saraya and Toni over as heels and Britt and Hayter over more as Faces

That makes 0 sense. She was just a stooge/3rd wheel for Britt anyway. I'm impartial for those yams but still......

The Good And Bad Of ROH new show ....

The Good

Slim J vs. Mark Briscoe
(Good opening match. I'm not too familiar with Slim J's work but he showed some solid stuff here. Mark was good as always. Mark Briscoe wins via Jay drilla!)

The Infantry vs. The Kingdom
(Pretty much a competitive squash match for Taven and Bennett. They'll definitely be major players in the tag team division when TK decides what he wants to do with the belts.)

Blake Christian vs. Zack Sabre Jr.
(Didn't expect to see ZSJ defending the IWGP TV title on this show but I'll take it. I like Christian's work. He's fluid, explosive and technically sound but he's not on ZSJ's level. This was a excellent match. Great counters and solid psychology. ZSJ calls out Bryan Danielson and proclaims that he's the best technical wrestler in the world not Danielson. I would love to see it. They should save it for "Forbidden Door 2".)

Konosuke Takeshita vs. Josh Woods
(Banger match. Takeshita over big time with the ROH audience. Dude is just awesome! I don't think he's had a bad match yet. Good work from Woods in this too.)

The Embassy vs Joe Keys, Rex Lawless & LSG (An effective squash match for Brian Cage, Kaun and Toa Liona. All three men work well together and if pushed correctly should be the top heel group in ROH.)

Madison Rayne & Skye Blue vs. The Renegades (Skye Blue has really developed into a solid worker. The fluidity in her movement is there. The transition smoothness is there. The stiffness in her strikes is there. You can tell she understands what she's doing in the ring. She gets it. Only thing really left for her to do is to work on her promos. If she can get that down she has a bright future ahead of her. Could possibly be world champion in the future. I absolutely loved her work in this match and that's the only reason to really watch this match.

The Renegades have potential but they're still too awkward in the ring. They're still thinking too much in the ring about where they need to be position wise on certain spots. it's become too noticeable. A good worker knows where they need to be in the ring on spots where it looks natural. Madison Rayne has always been consistent but nothing really special stands out about her work.)

AR Fox vs. Claudio (Excellent match. Good chemistry between these two. Need to keep Claudio as the champ for awhile.)

The Bad
Rohit Raju vs. Christopher Daniels
(Not too familiar with Raji's work but I did like what I saw out of him in this match. He's fast and does everything with intensity. I'm definitely interested in seeing more of his work in the future. On the other hand why is Christopher Daniels still wrestling? I thought he was suppose to retire years ago when they broke up SCU. I definitely don't need to see another Christopher Daniels match in 2023.)

Metalik vs. Ari Daiivari
(Metalik is fantastic! WWE completely wasted him. I hope he becomes a main player in ROH. Daiivari on the other hand sucks. His work is as generic as It gets and that's what brought down this match.)

Lady Frost vs. Willow Nightingale (Pretty much a squash match for Willow. Lady Frost has a superb Moonsalt. Wanted to see more out of her in this match. Willow will face Athena next week for the ROH Women's Championship.)

Overall this was a good show. Booking was solid. No silly nonsense on the show. Just straight in ring action. Loved it.

To be honest outside of two matches I'm not too excited about this ppv tomorrow. The build has been very weak and it book ends what has been a bad month and a half of booking from TK. Need to hit the reset button after this ppv.

I watched this week show of AEW Dynamite..It was ok!!..The first match of the show with Orange Cassidy vs Big Bill got good at the end..To be honest, I was hoping that Big Bill would have beat Orange Cassidy and get the belt but you know that TK wasn't going to let that happen!!.. :smh: ...The Casino Ladder Match was damn good!!...I'm glad that Powerhouse Hobbs won and get another shot for a title belt!!.....The MJF vs Danielson promo was good as well...

Overall, it was a ok show!!..They are preparing for the PPV on this Sunday!!..
