Chad Gable is underrated.
As a wrestler, yes but his character has been so trash since he got saddled with the Shorty G gimmick to this shooosh bullshit. American Alpha Chad Gable should be a legit title contender.

I never got her appeal.
She benefited from getting bloody in that one match and rode that train the same way Becky Lynch did when she got her nose busted by Nia Jax.
Britt Baker just does nothing for me. Her lopsided face doesn't help either.
I think it's because she has an actual career outside of wrestling. She def got pushed cause she went with Adam Cole. I think they're setting up for her and Rebel to turn on Jamie. Britt can't play 2nd for too much longer.

It's more she developed into a great promo as a heel and that's what got her over even before the bloody Lights out match with Thunder Rosa. She's as average as It gets in the ring but she's near God tier on the mic. With that said I'm not into her because I'm a workrate type of guy.
She only got pushed once she started to excel as a heel. When she was a babyface her promos were dog shit but once she became a heel she found her groove. This was part of the reason why Riho and Hikaru Shida were the first two Women's champions. Britt couldn't hack it on the mic or in the ring. She's improved a lot since then but her matches still suck.
They would only do that if they intend on putting the belt back on Britt but they're not. Jamie will have the belt until Thunder Rosa comes back.
I agree with u on this. When he won the universal champ I was actually pretty excited. He’s great on the mic, entertaining and puts on a decent show in the ring. Had no idea they treated him like this. He’s been around for almost 20 yrs now.
And he's had a REALLY good career outside of the ring. The Marine 4 or some shyt, his reality show that has had like 5 seasons so he can't be salty.
It's already been three years. Still the best match and story AEW ever did. The storytelling and match quality was insane. Went back and watched it again and it still holds up. This was back when AEW was firing on all cylinders. Man have things changed.

A summary video of that time Pentagon Dark faced the Elite 3 of Stardom at the time in KAIRI, Mayu Iwatani, and Io Shirai (Sky) on "Lucha Underground". To this day this is the most entertaining Intergender match I've ever seen. All three women were God tier in this match in regard to storytelling, selling and offense. Damn I miss "Lucha Underground".
