now i DO remember him going in on JR.. that was an epic ass whoopin... i felt like they sorta took that angle over the top and thats where they started going downhill.. and i like HHH as a heel better than austin as one... sledgehammer HHH was epic...this must of been that time of that annoying "WHAT?" promo that he started... cuz every time he DOES make an appearance the fans still do that shit

This is just before HHH got hurt in the match vs Benoit and Jericho on Raw. Had he stayed healthy they would've been the most hated heel faction EVER.
The Divas of today need to watch tape of this and learn how to be tough. Lita took those chair shots like a champ. Only her, Chyna, and Trish Stratus would do shit like this on the regular. Its what made the WWF great.

The highlights yet another problem with the current WWE.In order for that segment to work right now first of all there would have to be a diva that the fans care about like did with Lita and Trish during that time. If that segment were to happen tomorrow there's not 1 diva that would generate that type of reaction and most would bring cheers to see her get destroyed like that.
The rock returning was one of if not the most epic moment in wwe/wwf history. I believe him calling out cena is a work/shoot deal but more shoot than work. How appropriate was it to have cena do his corny goofball dumbass promo in the beginning, just to have rock completely destroy him and tear the house down at the end. When rock said he was here to stay i believe it's more like austin, he'll do special appearances but his wrestling days are done and tbh that's just fine with me as long as he's there in some capacity. The lights shutting off one by one was great and it was good to see fans know who he was, im sure im not the only one who was afraid he would get a reaction like austin got the last time.
As far as cena/miz im more interested in seeing how miz responds more than cena, simply because cena will try to hang but last night showed he's not even in rocks zip code when it comes to mic skills.

Naw if anything this will make Cena more of a face. If Rock was coming back for hell even a couple of months I can see him turning heel. But once Rock is gone than what? He's gonna go and heel face off with Orton every week? I don't see it.
That shit was ill though. That shit was long overdue. That was 8 years of anticipation right there from the fans. WWE needs to do something. I use to think these crowds were weak but shit I guess they just haven't had shit to cheer for. Booker T, Diesal and now Rock had some of the loudest cheers i've heard since Rock and Stone Cold left. I gotta say though in defense of some of these wrestlers they don't get nearly the leeway they let Rock have last night with the "damn" and "asses". I literally hear niggas like Cena replacing "ass" with "butt". Gotta give these guys free reign. Especially if you can just censor it.
And I don't remember Stone Cold being a heel because I believe that was around the time I stopped watching wrestling but that video of him tearing the Hardy's and Lita's ass up is some cold as shit. Shit looked like it had potential to be something epic with Stone Cold and Triple H going heel.

That's a peculiar comment. Stone Cold started and got over as a heel. I always felt he lost something when he went full face and started playing up to the crowd.
This has nothing to do with TNA and will not affect them at all. There is NO competition between the two. TNA just put on a great ppv Sunday and that should be their focus. WWE isn't thinking about them and they shouldn't think about WWE.
Angle and Jeff had another great match and will have an even better one at Lockdown. If anything, they've given Jeff Jarrett a breath of fresh air with the MMA gimmick and the stuff with Karen. Dude has been getting legit heat from the Impact crowd and that's hard. He hasn't been this hot since he was elkabonging women in the WWF.
The man in the promos don't have to be anyone right now but it's meant for the Undertaker. If they can make something work with Sting, they can always squeeze him in later but as of now, it's just for Taker.
It says something when guys like Diesel, Booker T, and the Rock can come back and get bigger, louder pops than the guys you've been pushing hard to the last two, three years.

No it wouldn't. It would suck. The writers that made "Attitude" great are gone. The staff they have now would be in charge.
Im putting all my money on that being taker, especially since you can clearly see him in the video. I don't know if there's a 2nd person looking at him or if that was just another shot of taker, but im now less excited about the revelation.

Confession: I marked out when The Rock's music hit...that is how it's done. I hope that most of the guys backstage were taking notes.
Sting vs. Taker, Rock vs. Cena, the only other match that would be dope for me is if Shawn came back to fight John Morrison. The angle being everyone saying John is the new Shawn Michaels. I pretty sure they fought before, but I think they could have a really good match.
