Yeah it is. With Sting not back in TNA as "They", and Taker still hurting, he might be the best option.
Then maybe he'll give Jerry what he's been begging for for over a decade: a match at WrestleMania. Let him wrestle (and beat) Alex Riley. They let Piper and Snuka wrestle at Mania a couple years ago when they were in no shape to perform so let Jerry get that payday.

I just did and I have to give TNA credit for thinking on the fly and doing something good. Now the followup will probably suck but once again, Vince Russo comes up with a good idea for one show.

It would be good and it would let Riley, who they seem to like since he still has a job, work with an alltime great who could help him tremendously. I even think they could have a decent to good match with Riley going over but Lawler getting his heat back afterward.
That punch he gave Ted jr last night was great.
A perfect punch: worked but looked legit. The one thing I hate is bad worked punches. They kill my suspension of disbelief almost as bad as people selling dropkicks that missed by a foot.
Lawler has one of the best punches in the business.
Rumor all over the net is it's Sting. That's my thinking when I saw the thing last night. I'm sticking with that till he appears on TNA.

Oh God, yes. Mick Foley and Lex Luger too. Just horrible punches. Nash got on my good side when he started using forearms and elbows more and his fists less. Lawler, Flair, Jeff Jarrett, Bill Dundee have always thrown great punches.
Taker's so messed up he might not even make Mania so since this has a set date, it makes it less likely (but not impossible) that it's him.
Sting has not gone back to TNA, he and Vince have always had a good relationship, and everyone knows Vince wants him to go in his Hall of Fame and release a dvd to him.

I wonder who would induct Sting when ever he does make it into the hall. I really can't picture anyone doing it other than Flair.

TNA sources have indicated that Sting did not sign a new contract for 2011, and many in the company have discussed that he may be heading to WWE.
This morning, the New York Daily news reported that Sting had signed a one-year deal with WWE. That is NOT confirmed though.

It should only be Flair and if he keeps fucking with TNA, he might become available. He wasn't at tv last night and wasn't on the sheets for the tapings this week. He might have some free time come Mania. And he'll need the payday.

Christopher Daniels worked TNA last night as Suicide and he might bring back Curry Man but he's still signed to ROH.
It seems everything Hogan and Bischoff did when they came in has been undone. Val Venis, Nasty Boys gone. Orlando Jordan barely on tv. Steiner and Daniels back. Next thing you know they'll bring back the six sided ring.
