That’s some dumb ass shit to praise him for too. You don’t want to be the guy known for doing crazy spots.

That's pretty much Mick Foley though. I use to call Foley the "Bump God" because he would take some insane bumps throughout his career. Hell, Terry Funk took some crazy bumps too. His exploding barbed wire death matches in Japan are legendary. Darby is like the new generation of that shit. Dude truly doesn't give a fuck. He's talking about climbing Mount Everest in 3 weeks. Insane shit. If Sting can't get through to him then nobody can.

Yeah Mick had some legendary matches too though as well as was great on the mic but there’s probably a argument for him too.

Finally got a chance to watch the TV coverage of 'Revolution' and it's good to see that the crowd came across well on TV.
A couple of things though:
  • I had no idea JR called the last two matches. They made no mention of it in the arena. They should have had an introduction for JR especially to call Sting's last match.
  • I also had no idea Magnum TA and Nikita Kolof were there as well sitting ringside. No mention of Jake the Snake being there as well. That's something that should be mentioned by the announcer in the building.
  • I went back and watched some of the matches, especially the Ospreay/Takeshita match. I would say that match is currently leading for Match of the Year. Ospreay will definitely have to tone things down now on a weekly basis in order to avoid injury.
  • The Sting match was almost impossible to keep up with in-person and wasn't much easier to keep up with on TV. That Darby spot looks dumber and dumber each time I see it.
I'm curious to see how AEW follows up the show tonight on Dynamite. I hear they're using new colors and a new set starting tonight.
That's fine and all, but they've got to have coherent storylines moving forward because there will be new viewers watching for the first time tonight I'm sure.

Can't say I've ever watched her matches, probably saw one or two. Damage Control definitely should do the honors of inducting her.

One of the goats. Her All Japan run was legendary. Her WWE run was just okay but that was mainly due to Vince not really putting any effort into the women's division at that time. Bull's rivalry fued in WWE was with Medusa (Alundra Blayze). It's cool that they're acknowledging her for the Hall Of Fame. Honestly, I would have Medusa induce her considering she's from Bull's peer group.

It's very important that they hit a home run tonight.

1. Consitent storylines
2. Good booking
3. Good presentation

It's not the best but it's up there. The 1995 match between Aja Kong and Manami Tokyo for WWWA Title in my opinion is the number one women's match of all-time. Aja and Bull had an absolute war in this cage match though. Great stuff. I think I still have the VHS tape of this somewhere in my basement.

Great segment! So the Young Bucks kicked Kenny Omega out of the Elite and Okada joins the Elite and will be working heel in AEW. Corporate Okada! I love it! Storyline wise they can build up Kingston vs. Okada for the next ppv. Okada takes the Continental Crown championship off of Kingston then when Omega comes back they can do Omega/Okada 5 at "All In".

So it looks like Ospreay's first feud will be Bryan Danielson. They have plenty of time to build it for the next ppv. I think the benefit of having a lot of ppv is you don't have to put filler on tv anymore. You can start building stories/feuds immediately because there's another ppv right around the corner. This may help TK have more focus/direction with his booking.
