Yeah. That would be one thing I would have them understand. I'd rather have you call an audible and work your way back around to that spot or just let it be and know how to improvise. This is what I was saying about gambling with the spots.

Bangers!!!

The person who made that twitter post doesn't understand the context of what bangers are. 98% of what is labeled as banger matches have some story or build behind it. It's usually a match off of a ppv paying off a feud or story. An example of this would be the two matches Omega and Ospreay had at WrestleKingdom and Forbidden Door this year. Somehow the meaning of "banger matches" has been misconstrued by misinformed wrestling fans be something negative when it's not.

When someone says I rather watch a meaningful match over a banger match they're missing the whole point. A banger match is a meaningful match. It's 2023 and you have people on twitter actually criticizing the efforts of wrestlers who entertain fans with high quality matches. What is the world coming to?

4. Swerve Strickland
5. Hangman Page
6. Christian Cage
7. Eddie Kingston

Five guys who are injured that need to always be in the mix when healthy.

5. Darby Allin

Facts!!...

But YOU called that match a banger. I was asking, what was the story and emotional payoff of said match?

I enjoyed the story they told IN THE RING. Earlier in the match both wrestlers tried to psyche each other out by playing mind games. As the matched progressed Garica tried to overwhelm Christian by keeping the match mat based however Christian was able to make some adjustments and change the momentum of the match with well timed counters. He also turned up his intensity on his offense with stiffer strikes which led to Garcia matching that intensity with stiffness of his own.

As things progressed throughout the the second and third act of the match Garcia looked visibly weary. The announcers mentioned that Garcia would have to run the table to have a shot at winning the Continental tournament. Perhaps that fact was weighing on his mind as he has a tournament match tomorrow on Collision.

Christian caught Garcia with a great running Spanish Fly spot that put him further in control. Christian however screwed up by going for a springboard 450 which Garcia countered into a knee lock transitioned into an ankle lock. In the ending sequence Christian mocked Garcia's goofy dance but was caught with a Dragon tammer for the win.

For a pre-show match it did what it needed to do. Tell a good in ring story and setup the main show.

A few things to unpack here.

- It looks like Skye Blue has finally turned full heel and has joined Julia Hart
- Props to Abadon for working on her craft and getting better in the ring. She's starting to see more tv time as a result.
- THUNDER ROSA is finally back!

Making it no DQ only means there's gonna be MORE fuckery interference involved. Can we get a clean fucking finish? Book like you have some balls TK.
