It was clear as the match progressed that Billie wasn't ready to take the belt off of Athena. Although a run in Japan would be interesting Athena doesn't really need to do that. Japan is a place you go when you want to get better. Athena pretty much is a finished commodity.

Lolz TK unhinged again...complains that AEW is always attacked. Goes on to attack anyone who criticizes his show. Losing Punk and his possible TV deal has him unhinged....imagine the head of a television wrestling promotion getting triggered by Disco Inferno?

A few things to unpack here.

- It looks like Skye Blue has finally turned full heel and has joined Julia Hart
- Props to Abadon for working on her craft and getting better in the ring. She's starting to see more tv time as a result.
- THUNDER ROSA is finally back!

Collision was really good. A lot of good wrestling and world building. One their biggest criticisms was the lack of women on the show. That definitely wasn't the case, and it added a lot. Abadon and Thunder Rosa pairing up wasn't what I expected to see, but a pleasant surprise.

Going forward I hope he gives the women two matches and a segment each show.

THEE only reply to Disco Inferno should be: 'Shut up before I crush you with my wallet!!!'

Fixed
What's funny is Disco Inferno is the type of gimmick wrestler that TK would sign if he owned WCW back in the day.
Say what you want about Disco, he was featured regularly on television during arguably wrestlings biggest boom period.

Does he have any memorable matches? No.

But he's accomplished more in wrestling without having a billionaire father back him up.

TK responding to him helps Disco's/Konnan's podcast more than it helps AEW

I have to go back and watch Collision...Collision has been good as well..

Yep because I haven't heard the name Disco Inferno in 20 years....didn't even know he had a podcast with Konnan.

Does this mean heel Skye will no longer show cheeks

I wonder why she wanted to leave WWE? I always thought it was because she didn't want to do character work, but that's obviously not the case as seen here.

She left because she felt unappreciated on the main roster with Vince's goofy booking. Yes, she currently has a comedy gimmick in AEW but she's also a three time AEW World Champion. TK simply booked her better.

Yeah I mean with all due respect to her she ain't really worth putting the title on. Not in WWE anyway. I can't imagine at the time Sasha or Charlotte or Becky or anyone jobbing to her to put the titel on.

Get released and start a OF is the new hustle.

It all depends on what you value as a booker. Toni Storm THEN and NOW is a better worker than Becky and Charlotte. The only two wrestlers in WWE THEN I would put over Toni In regard to workrate is Asuka and Sasha. As a booker Vince valued characters/gimmicks over workrate/in ring so wrestlers like Toni were stuck in the mud. In AEW Tony tends to value workrate over characters/gimmicks. There are some exceptions but that's where he's generally leaning.

Yeah, used to get them from the ice cream truck on my block. They were regular as fuck if I'm being honest.
I've only ever had that once and it was off of the ice cream truck. I remember being excited as hell to finally get my hands on it, but was quickly disappointed because as you said, "regular as fuck."

I went back and watched AEW Collision from this past Saturday night!!...It was a good show!!...The matches from the Tournament was good but the best match was the Women's Street Fight Match with Willow and Kris Statlander vs Mercedes Martinez and Diamante!!...Those lades put on a damn good match!!.. ..

It was a good Collision show!!

I don’t disagree there. But it’s a package deal. You gotta have the brand go with being a worker…Cena’s matches were bland but you had to keep the title on him when he draws.
