Asuka's English promos always end just being soundbites to get a new catchphrase going. But her Japanese promos are actually great. But WWE rarely do subtitles for them and only show them on WWE Japan's Twitter account.I think they will turn on Bayley sooner rather than later. I don't know if Dakota can step up and be the mouthpiece bit they need a strong English speaker to carry it. We have seen the broken English promos of Asuka and sometimes they make me cringe.

They've definitely come a long way from the oversized t-shirts they used to wear when they first started going to Saudi.
Whenever I see guys like Luchasaurus and Lance Archer, I always wished they would be more like Mike Awesome. Those matches Awesome/Tanaka had were legendary.
From my understanding she's under contract with Stardom until March of next year so this report can't be right. When her Stardom contract does expire if WWE signs her it will be a tremendous pickup. She has a superstar aura about her that translates well everywhere she goes. She's so versatile that she can work any ring style so the transition to the WWE style won't hurt her.

Just thinking ahead if Giulia does sign with WWE. Imagine a Joshi stable of Giulia, KAIRI, Iyo Sky and Asuka! WOW! If booked correctly they could dominate the whole women's division.
TK doesn't know what to do with the talent he already has so bringing in more Joshi talent won't improve things.

I knew Giulia would eventually make the jump to an American promotion so that's not surprising to me. If it has to be WWE than so be it. At least Triple H books his women better than TK.
March isn't that far off and depending on her contract, who knows how it's worded?
With these rumored developments, I wouldn't be surprised if Sasha Banks came back if Triple H does end up signing Joshi talent. If these signings do happen, I'd be amazed if she ends up in AEW, especially with TK's booking.
She's been doing extremely well in Stardom and has improved a ton in just six months. Her promos are weak but her presentation and ring work are solid. In AEW she'll need a manager who can be her mouthpiece.
About what I figured. She won't be able to sign anywhere until March. Also, Giulia isn't doing any tryouts. If you want her you sign her. If you don't fuck off!

Do folks still take Dave Meltzer seriously when it comes to WWE rumors? WWE is a billion dollar company and can make things (deals and agreements) happen if needed. Meltzer claiming his sources have denied it is suspect.

Meltzer has NO sources within WWE and only has the Elite and Jericho as sources within AEW.

That's a big deal to have NXT, a developmental brand, on broadcast TV. No, it's not FOX or NBC, but still a huge deal to be on broadcast TV.
The fact that anyone with a basic antenna will be able to watch NXT is huge. I wonder if they move nights...
Not sure how much that will translate as far as ratings, I can't imagine CW gets a lot of viewers nightly, but free TV versus cable television, I think their numbers will do fine if not significantly better.
I expect Smackdown numbers to drastically take a hit, being on FOX helps them ratings interested in where this leaves RAW.
