Yep, it was a last-minute move to put the belts on the Bucks after the whole debacle with Jeff Hardy. The Hardys were supposed to win the titles in that ladder match and but you know...
They were just temporary place-holders.

Agreed.Swerve and Lee remind me of Kane and Daniel Bryan or Raven and Tommy Dreamer. The relationship is shaky and when they drop the titles that feud they have is gonna be GREAT!
Did anyone else have one of those CD's?

Yep! That WWF Volume 4 was part of my soundtrack senior year of high school.
I used to bump that loud as fuck in my Toyota Corolla![]()
Hopefully, the product will be less cartoonish and stale now that they can be "edgier".
Moving to PG from TV-14 was never the problem so switching back isn't going to change much until they address the REAL elephant in the room.... the shitty writing and Vince McMahon having unlimited finally say-so.
But if they want to seem less cartoonish, they could/should drop all those animated stupid shit during entrances.
It's bound to happen. Especially since these guys (and younger wrestlers) are always trying to make "holy shit moments" happen.
I'm not saying matches need to be all head locks and arm drags, but the business is too spot heavy nowadays.
She looks good for 51.
As much as I liked the Attitude Era as a teenager and look fondly back on it, I can't say it was the best era of wrestling. This was the best era of wrestling, no question. From Wrestlemania 14 - 18.

A lot of the stuff was on some Jerry Springer type shit and doesn't age well.
Outside of the top guys, quite a few of the matches back then were pretty shitty too.
You're right about guys today though not being charismatic on the mic.
I think it's a byproduct of guys today mostly doing their talking on social media rather than in front of a group of actual people like back in the day.
Wrestlers today would rather go back to their hotel rooms and play video games or post on social media than go to a bar, chop it up and hold court with a group of people. The art of being able to connect with a large group of people has been lost across the entire industry.
I can understand your opinion as far as eras, but the sensationalism and promotions, and the expanding of the brand during that era was on a whole other level. I think the Jerry Springer addition added that seasoning that made ppl want to watch it. I.e. the whole. Undertaker-Kane backstory or the love triangle between HHH, Kurt Angle, and Stephanie. It was like Soap Operas for men.

Sheeeeit..... Batman 89 (and Prince's original music to it) doesn't age well either but it was fucking awesome at the time and something I'll enjoy it until the day I die.But NONE of those stories aged well.
But NONE of those stories aged well.
Sunny old ass is the only one who shows anything.
