Agreed.
That dive by Keith Lee to the outside during the match was impressive, even though I still hate when guys gather around on the outside on cue and make it so obvious they are just there to break the dive.
Them and Hobbs should be featured a lot more than they are.
I hope they don't just give them the tag titles and relegate them to Rampage, which hardly anyone watches.

Moving to PG from TV-14 was never the problem so switching back isn't going to change much until they address the REAL elephant in the room.... the shitty writing and Vince McMahon having unlimited finally say-so.

But if they want to seem less cartoonish, they could/should drop all those animated stupid shit during entrances.

The product has been bad for quite sometime. The constant is Vince. As long as he is in charge of creative it’s the same shit but maybe different toilet

Them Holy Shit moments are overrated nowadays. The last real one was Calisto doing the Solito del Sol off the ladder(which was about 4 yrs ago) or that time Edge and Undertaker fought at TLC and Taker started choke slamming ppl off the top of the ring apron to the outside floor into tables.

Matches need to be a balance of fluid wrestling that tells story combined with wrestlers who can cut a real promo.

There is no true charismatic character who knows how to talk on the mic these days like Austin, Rock, Jericho, or even Booker T. Attitude Era had the guys who could cut a promo and have those distinct sayings. Even Road Dogg could rock the mic. These days Xavier Woods and Kofi do their thing sometimes, but overall there is no one who has a real mouth piece except for Heyman, Cory Graves, and Pat McAfee.

its was better when McMahon didn’t give a fuck and constantly pushed the boundary.

As much as I liked the Attitude Era as a teenager and look fondly back on it, I can't say it was the best era of wrestling.
A lot of the stuff was on some Jerry Springer type shit and doesn't age well.
Outside of the top guys, quite a few of the matches back then were pretty shitty too.

You're right about guys today though not being charismatic on the mic.
I think it's a byproduct of guys today mostly doing their talking on social media rather than in front of a group of actual people like back in the day.
Wrestlers today would rather go back to their hotel rooms and play video games or post on social media than go to a bar, chop it up and hold court with a group of people. The art of being able to connect with a large group of people has been lost across the entire industry.

I can understand your opinion as far as eras, but the sensationalism and promotions, and the expanding of the brand during that era was on a whole other level. I think the Jerry Springer addition added that seasoning that made ppl want to watch it. I.e. the whole. Undertaker-Kane backstory or the love triangle between HHH, Kurt Angle, and Stephanie. It was like Soap Operas for men.
