Britt Baker does not need this tournament, you have her lose by distraction from Toni Storm. This will setup their feud and Baker gets retribution on Toni Storm in her quarter final match cause her the match against Athena this gives Athena two quality wins plus sets up a Toni /Britt.
I would set up Athena vs Red Velvet finals match have Jade/Baddies interfere but backfire an Athena wins the tourney and calls out Jade to setup a future Feud. Imagine Sasha with the Baddies (Female 4 horseman) Sasha =Ric Flair Jade= Lex Luger Red/Kiera = Arn and Tully
Cage vs Joe is more of a long story for the TNA/Impact fanboys.
And I agree this is the best time, but nobody is knocking down doors to women wrestlers for acting roles. I would love to be proven wrong though.
The training is coming along well. Showing a solid amount of power and smoothness in her move execution. Her handspring back elbow combo in the corner already looks better than Penelope Ford. Just need to get more reps in and with that will come fluidity. I like what I'm seeing though.
It better be more than lingerie bullshit.

I just bought tickets to my first AEW show, I'm going to this Dynamite/Rampage in Duluth in July. This is where they had the Cody/Andrade flaming table match last year.
This will be my first wrestling show, too. I hope I see some baddies.
