Has that "Official WWE Statement" been verified. I know Sean Ross Sapp or whatever posted and said so, but was it posted to WWE Social Media?

I'm siding with them not only because of that, but also because people be complaining all the time about how wrestlers don't stand up to Vince about shitting booking enough, only to ostracize them when they actually do it and that shit is toxic.

If they felt inclined to stand up about it, it probably was some shit booking, especially given WWE's track record for mishandling the booking of Naomi, the women's tag division and black champions in general.
Exactly, what are they doing with Ricochet?

Weak on the microphone? Yes, but weak on the ring.... No.

They treat his internationalchampionship like shit along with the US belt....I don't even remember who has it now.

This isn't the first time with Sasha and I'm not bringing race into it. If Sasha feels she's being treated unfairly then she should bounce. It's as simple as that.
You'd be nuts to not bring race into it with the WWE. The woman got burnt out after wrestling since she was 18 and she was working while injured. People on the internet calling her a quitter is insane to me.

Isn't that literally what she just did?

The only thing is walking out on a show isn't enough to get someone fired in WWE, nor is demanding a release, especially when they don't want her to go to other places like Hollywood or another promotion.

They had Mustafa Ali sitting at home the whole year and before that, he wasn't really even doing shit for real. You know they itching to run Sasha/Bayley again, the inevitable split from Naomi, Sasha/Bianca II, and bury Sasha to put over Becky and Rhonda.

At most, they're going to let her cool off at home and then bring her back and turn it into an angle. But walking out is the only thing she could realistically do.

This is a work then. No way they would post this if it were legit.
I thought the same thing last night till I woke up and saw it as a top story on my local news here in Norfolk, Va, starting to think there is way more to this and Vince and company are trying to get ahead of it before the networks and investors start asking question. Some of them old kats in the back keep forgetting they are a publicly traded company now.

You should listen to Jim Ross podcast some time especially when he speak on the race practices in WWE it's mind blowing but not surprising.

I never understood why WWE had Women's Tag Team Championships in the first place. There's not enough talent to justify those belts. Secondly, Sasha needs to either go Hollywood or fuck off. Her drama queen act is beyond old.
They're just merchandise props they can sell to little kids. They mean absolutely nothing.

hmmm…I wonder what’s different between her vs Sasha/Naomi?
I'm starting to think this whole thing is a work. WWE is VERY careful about what they release via PR statements and what the announcers are allowed to say. Something like this would normally not be announced so prominently on air or in a press release.

Brischoff feelings are still hurt.

Not saying I agree with him, but I'm curious how much extra money Punk's signing has brought to AEW compared to how much he's being paid.
Punk only came back to wrestling because TK finally made him an offer (after trying for years) he couldn't refuse.
He didn't do it for the love of the sport like he claims.

At this point the WWE just need to get rid of the women’s tag championship

it was a title created for Sasha. She never gets long title runs or is used for cannon fodder. they never build legit storylines around the titles and they are used to get a lot of women on big cards like Wrestlmania

look at the history of the title and formewho are no longer with the WWE
outside of Sasha vs Bailey run has those titles ever mattered? How many tag teams thrown together to get the titles only to dissolve once losing it.

the titles are effectively versions of the IC and US championships to give upper carders like Sasha and Rhea something to do. But the WWE doesn’t give a fuck about tag team wrestling (outside a few), don’t give a fuck about women (outside a few) and don’t give a fuck about black wrestlers (outside a few)

as black women tag champs of course they got frustrated cause the WWE didn’t give a fuck about them and their run

It's no coincedence that every time a wrestler stands up to Vince and his shit booking, WWE pushes the narrative that the wrestler is "difficult to work with." They did the same with Keith, Punk, Bray, etc.

It's just that this time instead of WWE not giving it any gas and sweeping it under the rug like how they're supposed to because they're still their employees, WWE put the narrative out there first.

They want Sasha (probably Naomi, too) to look like the villian. "She's unprofessional. She's a quitter. She's not easy to work with. She's the reason we had to change the main event."

According to WWE, we're supposed to be mad at Sasha because she actually gives a shit about what she's doing, and how her and Naomi are booked and portrayed as champions.

I think they were right to walk away. Being a champion should mean some shit. If they're going to job out the champs, put them on jobbers then.

The issue is that they seem to think black champions ARE jobbers. They already jobbed out Bianca, Kofi and Big E. I believe they were gonna add Sasha and Naomi to that list. I BET they were gonna do a super white girl team to squash them for the titles, like Rhonda and Alexa or some shit.

In wrestling plans can change at any given time. Especially in the WWE. They have a long history of promising things and not delivering but ultimately they can use you however they see fit. They're paying you to do a job. No matter how bad creative is you still have to be professional. Now Vince will decide what to do with them.

Too late. Sasha lost to Liv Morgan on Smackdown and then lost to Shayna Bazler since they won the tag belts along with Naomi losing to Rhea Ripley. And unfortunately this is a pattern of behavior that the WWE has with their wrestlers and with their champions. And this isn't the 1rst or 2nd time that people have walked out on them over the years and they may as well since it seems like the WWE doesn't seem to have an inclination to care about how 99% of their roster is portrayed. Kevin Owens just went from being a part of Stone Cold's last match, albeit with a dumb setup to a comedy feud with Ezekiel.
I don't know what happened but considering their history I'm more likely to give Naomi and Sasha the benefit of the doubt than the WWE writers and higher ups.
