I am skeptical
they been making money hand over fist
they are supposed to tour in a limited capacity
and alot of the ppl not featured got to work tours
and the cuts seem very excessive and nonsensical based on the placement in the company of some of the talent
it seems like left hand (business side) not giving a fuck a bout right hand (product). For instance wwe cut aliester after of reestablishing him and him impacting the main event on fox. not only does that shit on your talent but it shits on your fans who invest in long term story telling
I wouldn't be suprised if Ali or Ric got let go also. Maybe Ali knows something we dont know...yet.
And they can't put Naomi and Liv in a tag team, and they're not getting put in the singles picture, so they're probably next.
They just broke up Elias and Ryker, so that's another tag team gone.
Big E was just about to do some shit with Aleister, now he's probably going back to Apollo for like the 10th time.
What if (God forbid) Bobby or Drew gets hurt? Title picture done.
People were already spectating that the next two months was going to be/continue to be trash until they got back on the road, now it's more evident that it is.

Perhaps, but I don't see the WWE going back on the road full time anytime soon. Notice they are calling it a "tour" just like a music group or the circus.
I think in this pandemic they've seen how much more money they can make by not being on the road all the time.
This might be their business model going forward.
Put on weekly shows from a studio (Thunderdome or wherever) and then hit the road every now and then.
The 90-day no compete clauses will be over the week before AEW All Out, too.

doesnt matter if you an independent contractor. I beleive you can get let got at any time with 90 days pay (but of course thats one sided)

on the WWE docuseries WWE released a few months back alot of it focused on his shared love of wrestling with his grandma and how he tried/failed to get into so many times before finally making it
Santana & Ruby Riot are a must for AEW women division. Lana should do something outside of wrestling as a influencer. Buddy Murphy would be great in NJPW. Tommy End could be big money for AEW. Braun is a main eventer and is going to get many offers. Braun will probably end up in AEW.

WWE deals are notoriously one-sided. They have all kinds of out clauses for the company.
Nah I get that.....but the fact that they had the chance to let him walk........and they re-sign would seem like they have something in plans for him I would think.
I'm saying though that I think its safe to assume that these cuts were either budget related, people who wanted to get released, or people they felt were expendable......now unless Ricochet was getting paid like Braun....I don't think he fits any of the above.

But see to me if you teaming up with Carmella to do ANYTHING that signifies you can be a cut casualty.
But I will say that on Aleister Black....prime a example of what in the fuck...you build him up to let him go.....he strikes me as a guy who would want a release but I mean if you knew that why would you build him up and waste production costs on him? Just silly.

no one is forcing them tour and dictate their schedule. If doesn't make fiscal sense only do Smackdown and Raw.

aleister didn't ask to be let go after they fired his wife and was on the sidelines for months...but he get let go 2 week after his return and months of promo packages
I guess nick Kahn is good at increasing their bottom line but the company sucks at everything else including wrestling, how they treat talent and on air product
