Anybody have a download link for Double or Nothing? Got busy over the weekend and forgot it was even airing.
I feel like all the NXT titles are better looking than the main roster belts.The NXT UK Women's title is the best in any promotion. It just looks like a championship title.
The new AEW title does look better than the old one, but I wish they got rid of that old-school style.
On the brightside he's burying nobodies in stupid, unnecessary programs.
His feuds are the most random, dumb nonsense this side of the Fiend.
Lance, Starks, Penta, Warhorse, Kingston, Hagar, Wardlow, Spears, Brody and now Ogogo....
At least Triple H was a heel while doing his burying. Cody is supposed to be a face?

Warhorse wasn't and isn't with the company. Starks and Kingston weren't with the company at the time. This was one of Ogogo's first matches and the feud shouldn't have happened in the 1rst place or at least been built up like this. Penta was thrown together bullshit. AEW needs to figure out if the Death Triangle are heels or faces because 1 second they're doing some heel shit and the next second they're being jumped in the back. Him beating Hagar was a fluke where Hagar had choked him out not exactly a burial.
They jobbed the fuck out of Spears which is all they've done with him other than him clocking Cody with the chair. The Wardlow crap was also stupid and unnecessary. I get that it was a part of the whole thing with MJF but yeah he didn't need to take a loss. But Wardlow wasn't buried. Brody Lee beat Cody's ass clean and definitively. The follow up was trash and unfortunately Brody Lee's last appearance was a couple of weeks after the Dog Collar match.
Cody needs some cohesion besides bouncing from 1 random ass feud to another random ass feud with subpar buildup and overdramatic promos mixed in. And the Nightmare Family needs to be pared down because it's ridiculously big as well.

I was actually wondering about this. Seems like Lio is signed with NJPW, but because of the COVID issues in Japan, he can work dates here in the states with AEW.
I wonder what Shayna did to deserve this terrible booking.

That vampire biting Becky's neck angle that they quickly scrapped is about as much personality she's pulled off.

bazler aint getting the white woman in wwe treatment. Her treatment is more in line with how woman of color are treated

WWE has made some strides but Mandy Rose got called up at the wrong time
if Bliss & Carmella have all their allocoldaes, Mandy would've been a 5 time champ by now in a different era or even a few years back
Shayna's character is that she's a badass and that she whoops ass, that's all the character she needs. It's just that it doesn't work when they book her to lose via roll-ups and distractions and shit every week.
The booking and this Reginald/Nia shit took all the seriousness out of her character and now she's out there looking like the goofy villian, like she's Wile E. Coyote just running off of cliffs and blowing his face off with his own bombs when she should be booked like a female Brock Lesnar.
Now they're about to chump her out in this Alexa/Lily shit, when really Shayna should already be like "I'm getting real tired of your shit, bitch", destroys the swing set, steals Lily, burns her in a dumpster fire, no sells the magic shit (Fire pyro goes off, she just walks thru it. Shit falls from the ceiling, she catches it, chucks that shit like a frisbee) walks up, beats Alexa's ass, chokes her out, black goo and all, in the middle of ring, walks off.
But they're not gonna do that, they're gonna book her like a goofy.
The problem with that is everyone can't be the "badass that whoops everyone's ass".
Again, her work isn't good enough for that to be her character like a Brock Lesnar or even a Rhonda Rousey.
Yeah, they're overdoing it with the goofy shit, but she's just not marketable enough looks wise to be one of the top females.

Everyone can't be but she can. She has credentials as a legit fighter. She looks legit and she works like a fighter when she's allowed to. The female roster has plenty of good wrestlers but most are also there because of their sex appeal. Shayna isn't which is why she should be presented as a badass.
Just being the pretty girl isn't as marketable as it seems in WWE. Vince done tried to put that same "hot girl who likes the finer things in life" gimmick on like 5 different women. They tried it on Emma, they tried it on Liv Morgan, they just had it on Carmella and now they're trying it on Eva Marie and it still won't get over.
You're right that everyone can't have the same gimmick, but you also can't give the badass gimmick to just anybody. You can't give that gimmick to Lana, or Mandy Rose, or Dana Brooke, or Liv Morgan (basically all the pretty blondes). But you should give that gimmick to the not-so pretty girl whose a legit fighter.
Shayna looks like somebody that could legit whoop your ass, market her as a legit fighter. Have her squash the pretty girls. Have her have violent matches with the other badass women (Nia, Rhea, Charlotte, Becky), have her have big technical matches with the technical wrestlers (Sasha, Bayley, Asuka, Bianca), give her a manager/promoter, put a sponsor on her ring attire, etc.
It's easy to market a legit fighter, it's just that Vince is too stubborn to do it.
The problem with letting Shayna just be a dominate badass is she would have to beat Vince's chosen favorite, Charlotte. That's never going to happen. They won't even let a veteran like Asuka with her background and wrestling history go over her clean.
No she doesn't. There's plenty of undercard talent that she could beat decisively from Dana Brooke to Ruby Riott. And then with the top women Shayna can have legit competitive matches sometimes winning and sometimes losing but always pushing them to the limit.
Shayna should just go back to UFC (or where ever she came from) and make her money there.
