Good main event, shitty ending. The amount of chair shots would have left Reigns completely out of it, yet he can launch himself in the air to spear Styles like that? No.

Two Styles clashes (one on the chair) then all those chair shots and Roman still super mans his way to a spear Styles like nothing happens. What's the point of having finishing moves in wrestling anymore?

Good question

I always thought Cody was underrated and underused.
Cody asked for his release yesterday. Another wasted talent by WWE.

Yeah, Cody definitely had potential. His best years IMO is when he was doing the narcissistic gimmick (giving out grooming tips) and then he broke his nose, wore the face mask and transformed into a dark, brooding character.
It's been all downhill since then.
Shame, because he is a good wrestler and has charisma. According to his statement he HATED the Stardust gimmick (as I did too).
Hopefully, he lands somewhere else soon.
It's a gift and a curse being the son of a wrestling legend.

Yeah, pretty much. From past experiences, the spouses usually follow out the door not too long afterwards (see AJ Lee after CM Punk left).

Not surprising. She takes way risker bumps than most of the other women. I'm willing to bet she will have the shortest career.
I read that she actually got accidentally kneed in the head by a referee during a match and that's what caused the concussion.
You're right though, she does take a lot of crazy bumps. She'll go out early like Daniel Bryan at the rate she's going.

you think it's bad now, just wait until Super Cena returns. This joker will take 4 F-Fives and still kick out

The IC fatal way match was by far the best match of the night. I forgot how good a fatal 4 way can be when they find a effective mix of spots and good wrestling.
And reason number 10367 why Reigns should have lost the title to Styles .... Reigns vs Rollins is going to be a great storyline and a okay match. Styles vs Rollins would be a good storyline and potential match of the year candidate.

Finn Balor should be finishing up at NXT during the upcoming Takeover ppv. After that were see Balor and AJ feud over the summer. The Club will be their new t-shirt seller.

More on What Led to Cody Rhodes Leaving

As noted over the weekend, Cody Rhodes asked for his release from WWE and was granted it. Rhodes then later released a statement after his release went public saying that he was unhappy with his position and wasn’t a fan of his Stardust character.

If you recall back in March, Rhodes started teasing the end of the Stardust character on social media. Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the original plan was for Rhodes to drop the Stardust gimmick around WrestleMania 32 – or the night after – and go back to simply being Cody Rhodes.

“Vince McMahon and Triple H – and it was more Vince McMahon on this one, from what I was told – they decided [that] we’re not going to do it,” Meltzer said.

Meltzer would go onto explain that Rhodes is still being held to his WWE contract and the split is “not amicable.” Meltzer said that WWE is “kind of putting the screws to him,” and that since Rhodes quit, they are trying to make it hard for him contractually to do anything for another wrestling company.

WWE posted the following this evening, reporting that they have released Eden (Cody Rhodes’ wife) after she requested the release…

WWE has granted Eden (wife of Cody Rhodes) her request to be released, as of today, May 24, 2016. WWE wishes Eden the best in all her future endeavors.

This comes just days after Cody requested and received his release. She posted the following on Twitter…

Cody on why he asked for his release. He hated being Star Dust and was fed up with his position within the company. I've seen reports that Dusty came up with the character.:dunno:

Stardust was a character he came up with in high school so it wasn't that he hated the character as much as he could see it was going nowhere.
How does a guy who's been with the company 10 yrs not get his calls returned by the creative staff?
There are a number of people in that company that should have seen the writing on the wall a long time ago. Cody and Wade should have left long ago and I have no idea what's keeping Dolph Ziggler there.

They're trying the brand extension thing again? :smh:
It's failed countless times in the past, not sure why they think it can work this time especially with a thinner roster.
And I don't know about having Smackdown live. I haven't watched Smackdown in years and I'm not sure having it live will make any difference.
It will always be seen as the "B" show unless they have real stars that are only on Smackdown and not going back and forth between both shows.

They have too much talent with the NXT call ups and signings. Apollo Crews missed like the previous two raws before this passed Monday. There needs to be more exposure for these guys to succeed. Instead of seeing the same couple guys closing Raw and Smackdown every week. Cena is returning and I would bet money that he's going to be on Smackdown as the U.S. champion. The way this needs to be handled is not bringing back the world title. Have the WWE champion go to each show to feud with who's ever he feuding with on that show. Hell put Orton on Smackdown too and present the new guys as the new era that they're going with.
