Your words of catering to families, but how long can families afford to go to these shows? This sounds more like inflating your business for an evaluation more than anything.
I look at WWE as the suburbs. Relatively safe, everybody wants the same thing. All the houses are basically the same framework but aesthetically are different. Great for families and people trying to start one, but no young adults want to live there. That's where AEW comes in. AEW is the city, higher crime, bright lights, you stay long enough you're gonna see some wild shyt. NOTHING about it screams stability and that's the appeal. Today might be its last day and you want to see what they're gonna do to go out with a bang. Sometimes a thing is advertised and it just falls FLAT!
Both have their faults, but one CAN'T be the other. Because everyday somebody from those suburbs turns 18 and needs the excitement of the city. And just as much somebody knocks a broad up and is compelled to move his family to a place that has more stability. Where his kids can play.

I dont think we realized the level at which the Women's wrestling has evolved light years from the Divas Era of wrestling. The work the performance center and even LFG puts into the new talent is impressive. Combine that with super athletic prospects not just stiff overjuiced body builders
There is a segment of wrestling fans who love the blood & guts, indie style of wrestling. That's a demographic that shouldn't be ignored in pursuit of higher profits. Especially from a guy who is already wealthy and this seems at times this is a passion project. Kahn can be blamed for a lot of perception AEW. You can't be targeting the minority, but keep taking shots at the other company that wants the mainstream. There's room for both, and the only way I see AEW ending is when Tony gets bored with it.
