I hate the Michael Cole character (for so many reasons) but he should get some good ones off when the old heads come out.
I friggin love Michael Cole's character. He's the top heel in the business right now

An announcer being the top heel in the business, is not a good look for the business.
Just goes to show how much the industry is hurting now.
The top two heels in the promotion (Cole and Vickie Guerrero) aren't wrestlers.

I don't like watching that shit now since cole became a heel. It was something different at first, but it got old really quick. Also the anonymous general manager has gotten old too, just make Triple H the anonymous general manager and call it a day.

No they didn't. Whenever someone goes on and on about the "genius" and starmaking ability, I think about the Steiners run in the WWF.
That would have been WrestleMania big. The match probably would have sucked but the event would have been huge. But only if the WWF protected Nikita as well as Crockett and Dusty did. Dude never wrestled a competitive match on tv for years and only wrestled in tag teams with veterans like Ivan and Khrusher, Dusty and the Rock N Roll Express.
Say what you will about Flair now but he worked magic with Nikita in 85.

Yeah i heard that one also. The story I've heard is that something happened leading Nikita to believe that McMahon had plans to job him out which is why he never went to the WWF.

it worked for Eric Bishoff?![]()
When Bischoff has been a heel he has also been recognized as a figure with power in the organization as well.So he wasn't simply a heel announcer with preferences but with a vested interest in the outcomes as well whereas Cole is just a Miz dickrider who has stooped to the level of interfering in his matches. Also because Bischoff had power people where a little more hesitant to get physical with him while Cole is just an announcer. Why some people haven't whooped Cole's ass is beyond me.Melina could have when he was clowning her a couple weeks back for not saying shit and the Hart Dynasty definitely should have when he was calling them boring as they were scouting at the announce table.

As reported earlier, Booker T has arrived to Boston, Massachusetts for tonight's Royal Rumble pay-per-view. He is expected to participate in the 40-Man Royal Rumble Match. His return to WWE after three years will not be a one night affair.
According to some wrestlers, Booker T is permanently returning to WWE to both wrestle and announce. Additional details, however, have not been disclosed.
The six-time world champion has had his sights set on a commentating position for a number of years. He indicated in an interview last year during Royal Rumble season that if he were to return to WWE, it would likely be as an announcer.

Is anyone getting the feeling that Vince only picked up Booker and Nash to fuck with TNA's whole "they" angle. Wasn't the new "they" suppose to the Main Event Mafia. With Booker and Nash signed so close to TNA's big night on 2/3/11 that must have really fucked up their whole angle.
I wonder if they'll go by Black Snow and Chet Lemon

On a side note: Is anyone else tired of TNA telling you exactly when to watch. They did this the first time with "they" coming on 10/10/10. So you knew ahead of time that there was no point to watch the show until then. I feel the same way now. I haven't watched Impact since they started talking about 2/3/11 being the big night. What's the point? Somebody posted the begin of the Kane angle on the last page. Why can't TNA do something like that, when they have you watching week to week, not knowing what or when something might happen. They insist on telling you the exact date the shit is going down.
So who ya'll got for the Royal Rumble?
I was thinking CM Punk, but they're probably going to do a Nexus vs. Corre angle for Wrestlemania.
I want Kofi to win, but they need him in Money in the Bank
I think it'll be Big Show

I'm pulling for John Morrison, although I known they probably won't give him the win.
I thought it would have been CM Punk until they started this whole Nexus vs. Corre angle. I
I've thought for months that Nash should be the anonymous Raw GM since he can be both an imposing authority figure who can talk and at the same time be lively and a smartass to those who want to be aggressive or smart towards him.
