They also get to audition and build a relationship with future talent by seeing how they work with current talent and how the crowd responds.
That saves them the cost of investing significant money in talent that doesn't get over when they arrive.
I have always been a huge fan of Bret Hart but he doesn't go a day without complaining. In fact, he's becoming known moreso for his complaining than his in ring wrestling career.
He got paid to go to SummerSlam, had a suite but wanted a floor seat instead. Come on Bret....

Bret is the single entity that lent legitimacy to wrestling while they were floundering with cartoon character gimmicks and he was key to the launch of the attitude era which essentially saved the industry. Fuck them, man.

Negligence is just a bad as intent. How come Sting never plummeted from the top of the arena? Because WCW did the stunt with the proper equipment and oversight is why.

The company WWE hired fucked up. They were found to be responsible. Bret has already accepted this.
I like Bret but he can be just as foul as the rest of them.
Bret flipped on Owen's wife and has been publicly disrespectful as hell towards her because she refused to fuck with WWE even after he went back.
Owen's wife also said they're relationship first went bad because Bret wanted her to get him ownership of his material in the Owen wrongful death lawsuit which had nothing to do with him and I believe it.
Owen's widow is another curmudgeon.
She's basically made a career off Owen's death. It's why I always found it weird and disgusting how she pimped Owen Hart's legacy to be used by AEW as an afront to WWE.
I'm not as familiar with her story but it doesn't surprise me.
Truthfully from the stories that have come out about the Hart family Owen seems to be the only one that is a genuinely good person for the most part.
Not saying Bret and the others aren't to some degree as well but they can definitely be irrational assholes sometimes.

I would say it's a tie between Gunther and Sami Zayn...I've said this before, every time i see Sami, i think of a cross between Luther and Hacksaw Jim Duggan.
He's going to really blow up once he's totally free of the Bloodline angle and totally on his own.
Can he get over without the bloodline? I mean ever since he stopped feuding with Roman, he really gets no reaction on his own now. The guy that's really going to take off is Jacob Fatu. I really enjoyed his program with Braun Strowman.

I think his personality will end up getting him over more when he has a character or angle that really allows it.
At this point, just put all the tag teams on Smackdown.

Fraxiom - best team on the roster (currently)

I like the street profits, but after watching this match, I'm convinced that if Montez ford was white, he would have had a title shot already. I want to see Trick Williams make it to the main roster, but they gonna waste him just like they're doing Carmelo Hayes and Ford at this point.

Montez Ford deserves title shots regardless of the circumstances. His problem lies in poor booking decisions. He should have at least had a singles run for the Intercontinental Championship. He’s the best pound-for-pound athlete in the company. This is how they book Montez: The Street Profits win the titles without B-Fab, then lose the championships two months later. Bray Wyatt was a genius. He created a character that was different, memorable, and played to the whims of all the wannabe screenwriters that the WWE employs. The character was alright, the promos were fine but anything that involved physicality was trash. The Wyatt Sicks are continuity of that minus the good promos.
MCMG are fire in the ring but they've done nothing to make the crowd want to be interested in them besides have them feud with DIY which doesn't help anyone. I'd rather see Ciampa by himself. And Candice LaRae is just taking up space even more than her husband.
I hate that Dawkins is always overlooked. He has gotten better as time has gone on. The New Day were goofy as hell well before Pretty Deadly showed up. The Pancakes, the Booty O's, the unicorn shit, the trombone, etc. It's just more glaring with no Big E and with the waste of that great heel turn.
