Yesterday was my first wrestlemania in 20 years, after watching wrestling religiously since the NWA days in the 80’s. I got Peacock to watch soccer and saw that wrestlemania was streaming, so I said fuck it let me see what’s going on.

- The ladder match was fire but everything else was subpar to me. I guess you have to understand the storyline to get into it, but nothing grabbed my attention.

- Glad to see women wrestling has stepped up.

- Commentary was a 5/10
Yeah being in and out of wrestling...i've realized that in order to fully appreciate and get it you have to be involved in the storyline. Casual fans won't be as impressed.

Surprise Cena and Austin appearance to balance out the Bloodline. Cody Wrestlemania moment will be in the ring with Austin, Cena passing the torch to Cody as Babyfaces champions of the company

Suprise Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks to balance out the Bloodline. Dave Meltzer gives it a 9000 star match Gets himself pregnant due to the Super Kick party that takes place with Jimmy and the Young Bucks. Cody wins and takes WWE to it's first Forbidden Door!

Now THAT'S some good shyt!

I think guys like ospary are talented and would be doing much better if they went to WWE and learned that style and given actual material to work with . I don't like that cirque de sole shit, and neither do the masses in the US.

You speak for the masses in U.S? By that logic wrestlers like Eddie Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, Great Muta, etc would've never became great in the United States. A lot of the greats do the Cirque du Soleil shit. The problem isn't the Cirque du Soleil shit it's building stories around the Cirque du Soleil shit.
Are we gonna act like Ricochet JUST became relevant and started winning matches? He spent his main roster career being Vinces bytch. Now that he's gone he's doing more than just putting others over and hanging in catering. Flippy shyt has it's place but when your entire show is dominated by it, it gets tiring really quick

That can be said about any style of wrestling. Yes, you don't want a whole show dominated by flippy shit but you also don't want a whole show dominated by Brock Lesnar/Roman Reigns kind of shit. That's one of the reasons why I watch different wrestling promotions. If I need to get my women's wrestling fix I watch Stardom. If I crave stiff Strong Style wrestling I watch New Japan. If I want to watch some goofy shit I'll watch DDT. If I want Death/hardcore shit I'll watch GCW and if I want to watch a hybrid of all that stuff I watch AEW. There's something for everyone. That's the benefit of having multiple wrestling promotions. If everything was WWE I would be bored out of my mind.

Yeah but the amount of times the cut to her and involved her + Micheal Cole's bullshit "do you believe in miracles" crap and the entire announcing of that match all but gave it away. They did not do a good job, I was insanely disappointed. They made Gunther look weak and if I was any of the major stars it would no longer make sense for him to go to the next level against a Cody or whoever. Poorly executed from top to bottom.

I would have preferred Gunther keep beating Sammy until his wife ran into the ring and jumped on him and ended the match there with Gunther laughing at his near dead body and crying wife, then have him drop it to Sammy in an epic match at another event. Or something to that effect to really build it up, as it stands I don't think the match accomplished much, and squandered Gunthers run imo
Gunther has lost 1 match since being brought up on the main roster. I agree that what happened last night was done poorly and I didn't think that Gunther should lose the belt. With that said 1 loss does not stop him from being viewed as a legitimate threat to become world champ and to beat anyone on that roster

Yeah honestly I don't think Gunther looked weak at all he beat his ASS. It made Sami look stronger which is good.

Drew deserves this win. He did a lot of the hard work during the thunderdome era.
And he's been better recently than he was then
