Other than mark fantasy booking, what incentive would WWE and Triple H have to work with AEW and do a joint PPV?
I know Triple H in the past has said that "WWE is open to do business", but I take that to mean doing business with much smaller promotions that don't pose any kind of real threat.
Smaller promotions they can poach talent from. Smaller promotions that don't have the money to sign away WWE talent.

The old regime is gone! That thinking of "threats" shouldn't be a thing now. HHH has friends working all over the world in other promotions, if WWE is willing to take a check from the Saudi's who're an ACTUAL threat! Why not work with a company that is a fan of wrestling like he is and making money.

its still a business and it doesnt make sense to work with your biggest domestic competitor
the Saudis are threat to American Values but a win for the WWE bottom line
its the same reason the PGA tour is banning golfers who join the LIV tour
its the same reason UFC & Bellator dont do superfights
the WWE & AEW are fighting over the same fans, their wrestling related dollars and advertising

AEW's roster IMO needs to be less than 50 people total. It's like almost 150 now. TK is getting like Vince, in he's hoarding talent, afraid he's going to miss out on the next big thing.
If the Saudis ran their own wrestling promotion that took away viewers and talent from WWE, trust me, WWE would not work with them anymore.
WWE doesn't care about the political stuff with Saudi Arabia, they just see $$$.
Working with AEW just doesn't make any business sense.
Remember, Triple H is the one that called AEW a "piss ant company" a couple of years ago. I don't see him changing his stance all of a sudden.

Saudi not a threat??? Let one of the women WEAR something that is haram or have an opinion that goes against the government. Keep in mind this is the same country that killed a journalist for the Washington Post. So let's not act like they only fcuk politically with America.
I look at these promotions like Microsoft and Apple. Microsoft can make more money by forcing people to only buy Windows compatible PC's/VM's. Instead they say keep your MAC here's Office! That is money that could have been used to buy a Windows license. WWE and AEW aren't in competition with each other. Outside of Fridays they don't even air the same night or conflict with each other on PPV's. This is like people that keep Pistons and Bulls rivalries going (yes I still keep that shyt going BAD BOYS FOR LIFE!!!!) The NBA isn't set up that way anymore Lakers fans don't care about the Celtics and vice versa. The players openly hang out with each other when they play each other. Nobody is shocked when Brock and Roman hang out together.
Making money? What kind of rating draw do you think you could get if WWE/AEW/NJPW/etc... does another invasion angle leading up to a Forbidden Door or a Survivor Series PPV? Yes it's been done before with ECW, then with WCW and then twice with the NWO. But you ALWAYS watch!
PGA is banning their golfers cause they don't want that press associated with Saudi Arabia. ALSO they don't want them getting poached from PGA due to the amount of money that LIV is willing to pay. Nobody left WWE for a lesser promotion saying: "MAN!!! I am so glad I left WWE!! I get paid SO much more money now!!!"
Now the reason UFC doesn't do superfights with Bellator is due to them protecting the UFC brand if Amosov KO's Usman (not gonna happen) what does that do to the UFC brand and your champions? Then you factor in the pay scale would be impossible as Bellator fighters are paid differently (more) than UFC fighters. Plus logistically that would seem to be a nightmare trying to make that PPV happen.

You can't use the "we have three hours and our competitor has seven" excuse when it comes to not showing more of your talent on TV.
No one pushed TK/AEW to sign up all those wrestlers. No one pushed TK/AEW to buy up a whole other promotion, especially since there was no (appears to be) plan with getting those talents onscreen.
You can't say "well they have more screen time" when you signed them.

AEW really shot themselves in the foot by putting the interim championship on Moxley. Why not a heel? How exciting to the masses will it be to have face Punk and face Moxley face each other to figure out the undisputed AEW champion?

It doesn't matter if it's a face or heel that has the interim belt because Punk is getting the belt back when he returns anyway. Why waste that on Miro or MJF when they both deserve true title reigns? For all intensive purposes the world title is held up until Punk gets back then he'll have his reign and then MJF will probably get his reign after that.
I don't think Moxley can do a wrestling match at this point without blading.
…..but the payoff would be better with a heel champion facing Punk when he returns.
They could have always surprised people by having Punk lose…..you know to keep people invested.
Knowing Punk gets the title back does nothing to build excitement for his return….especially if he faces the garbage wrestler known as Moxley.

Looks like it's next week. They're doing the promo episode for the new Game of Thrones show that premieres on HBO soon, seems like a good time to have a surprise return for Kenny while they're bringing in extra eyes to the HBO show for Warner/Discovery. TK said the Shark Week promos they did a few weeks ago went well with W/D, too.
Everybody and they mama know Punk ain't losing his title match back. This is his time. TK probably already has who his next three world champions are going to be.

People were complaining because how long has Roman Reigns had the damn title. The complaints come from that shit being beyond stale. Punk hasn't even had a proper title reign yet.
