Rod1984 said:I was one of the first who bashed the game when I first heard its announcement, its release date, the crappy teaser trailer and the leaked footage. I had no intention of buying this game bc it just looked very low budget.. but when I saw amazon was selling it for like 35 bucks, I figured "eh what the heck, might get some form of enjoyment out of it". Well ups just dropped it off an hour ago, I just completed the first level. It took me longer than the youtube video i saw bc I was exploring everything and ended up finding an optional survivor and another guy who gave me ammo for food which was very well needed for my main objective a little later. This game can be tense if you are dealing with more than one walker, especially a massive mob I attracted by mistake..
a litle later, I approached a car and it asked if I wanted to push it over to go through the path and figured why do i want to do that, so i jumped on the car to walk over it to the path and the car alarm went off and I attracted a massive mob. The couple mobs in the area approached and a few more broke down a nearby fence, before you know it, I was trapped on top of the car, luckily they cant climb the car so i was safe for the moment and gave me time to think of an exit strategy. This is where I am lucky I got that extra ammo so I can shoot off a few walkers to make a small path through the mob to try and escape the rest of the herd, seriously this game is pretty awesome, everyone who says its trash dont have an open mind of lower budget games and think everything should look and play like the top 3 shooters which is halo, call of duty and gears of war.
If anyone is on the fence with this game, If you are looking to fight old fashioned zombies and not super powered mutated zombies with super speed, super agility, spitting acid and whatever else that left 4 dead, resident evil, dead island and zombi u made up, just plain regular walker zombies, then this game is for you. Just dont go in expecting the most amazing graphics in the world. The graphics are average, just average, it is not bad but not great either. the gameplay is very fun, I love the group management system, I was forced to let a survivor go bc I had no room for him to sit in my car, so I had to choose who was worth keeping to continue my journey, if you like zombie games you will love this if you gave it a real chance and not nitpick every little thing.
