That is really the main problem with TWD. If they were going to do this for nothing...we could have had another story line instead of a entire show which will now be two episodes about a heard taking a walk.

Interesting notion. That was a crazy ass plan. Maybe he thought fire would make them crazy and it would break the cell. The way they were doing it kept them calm and not rowdy.
That Lady is angry right now, so she is doing what ever rick says, but In all honesty she needs to be ricks balance.
