The Walking Dead: All Seasons (DON'T POST SPOILERS)

Re: The Walking Dead

The fresher the corpse and the more intact it is at the time of death the "healthier" the zombie is. This is up until the point where decomposition makes them nonviable.

And Kirkum said decomposition happens alot slower when you are infected with the zombie virus.

So basically they are dealing with a fresh batch of zombies that will move alot faster.

I don't understand why doesn't rigor mortis sit in.

Remember dont use real life logic on made up creatures:)

Ya...basically...I thought about this the other day too...either she'll do it or she'll hug Darryl and turn her back as he puts the bullet/arrow in her head since he was the closest to Carol and spent the most time looking for Sophia...

Re: The Walking Dead

Carol is weak she aint shooting shit, much less her own daughter.

The only character T-Pupp is superior to:lol:. Atleast T-Pupp can do menial task like drag corpses and lift objects. Carol was beaten down in life long ago by her abusive husband before the zombie plague.

Re: The Walking Dead

I agree this season is not worth watching again. I hope the next one is better.

They said this is the mid-season finally so I guess they are coming back earlier, maybe in the spring?

Re: The Walking Dead

The spoilers from last week were spot on.

Based on the ones from this week:

"Pretty Much Dead Already"

Episode opens with Glenn revealing the presence of the walkers to the rest of the group, who promptly proceed to freak out. Maggie becomes angry with Glenn for not keeping the secret and ruins his hat in retribution. Dale gives Glenn his trademark bucket hat as a replacement. Maggie later makes a plea to Hershel for the group to stay. She and Glenn also have an argument about the walkers, after which they eventually admit their feelings, kiss and make up.

Rick and Hershel argue, with Hershel demanding the group leave within a week. Rick uses the my-wife-is-pregnant card, but Hershel's not persuaded. Shane also wants the group to get the hell out of there because of the walkers in the barn, but Rick uses the same excuse to cool him down. However, Shane then becomes convinced that Lori's baby is his.

Dale takes off with Shane's guns to hide them in the swamp. Shane tracks him down and demands he give the guns back. Dale points his rifle at him and threatens to shoot. However, he backs down at the last moment, since he has no wish to become like Shane: he reveals that he knows Shane shot Otis and lied about what really happened. Shane heads back to the farm with the guns.

Hershel has Rick help him and Jimmy try to fish some walkers out of a nearby pit of quicksand and lead them into the barn with snare poles. He says the group can stay on the farm if they agree not to kill the walkers. They arrive at the farm about the same time Shane emerges from the swamp and hands out guns to other members of the group...

[sp]"Pretty Much Dead Already" (CONT'D)

Shane sees the snared walkers and goes berserk. He yells at Rick and Hershel as they guide the walkers towards the barn, with the rest of the group and people in the farm looking on. He pulls his sidearm and unloads it in the chest of one of the walkers, demanding to know "Could someone who's alive just take that? Why is it still coming?" Hershel has no answer.

He finishes off the walker with a headshot, grabs a nearby pickaxe and breaks open the barn door. Walkers pour out, T-Dog, Daryl, Shane, Glenn, and Andrea form a line and open fire. Once the dust clears, one more walker emerges. Sophia. Rick finally steps up next to the others, pulls his six-shooter and kills Sophia with a shot to the head. End episode.

It isn't stated but it seems like Shane kills Dale in this episode.

I doubt it. The best character to me is Shane, and he is supposed have been killed off. Seems to be the only character approaching this like it is a serious situation.

Re: The Walking Dead

if you read the comic i believe dale is killed during the
escape from the prison at the end of the story arc

If I recall {spoiler} Dale lived past the prison ark and died after the whole cannibals in the wood part when they were staying at the church

Re: The Walking Dead

I have watched Zombie movies from Night of the Living dead up to now the Walking Dead

So a question for my Zombie Authorities particulary the walking Dead expert

If you have to be bitten by a Zombie in order to turn - yet if you are mobbed by Zombies pretty much they will tear you apart -

How Come there are so many fully formed Zombies -

I mean Millions -

Thanks

In the walking dead zombie bites dont turn you into zombies they simply kill you. If you die in any way that doesnt involve head truama you become a zombie. Everyone is infected.

Is this from the comic or the show? I don't remember hearing this on the show.

I think it was mentioned in the season finale during the first season when they went to the CDC. Everyone on earth is infected with some virus and that virus reanimates your corpse when you die.

 i honestly don't remember that.

Re: The Walking Dead

Someone asked how there are so many Zombies & is being bitten the only way to be infected.

I thought you can be infected by ways other than BiTes ... inhalation/exposure. Also if I cremate a Zombie & the smoke then turn into rain and someone outside gets caught in the rain/ cemetaries are exposed and the dead begin to walk without ever being bitten? IE:Night of the Living Dead (when the guy open the drum/barrel with the Zombie in it? He was infected with out being bitten)

[walking dead] What about when someone was about to drink the well water and realized a zombie was in the well? Would they have then gotten sick & infected without being bitten?

makes no sense. zombie blood flies everywhere all the time and no one gets infected. ole girl sister had her blood all over her and she didn't get infected. many other examples.

Also, didn't they (Rick and Glen) cover themselves in zombie guts in the first season, then have it rain on them only for the zombie guts to wash away.

Everyone is already infected, once they die (natural causes) they reanimate anyway because the virus is already in their system. The bites just kill you and is reminiscent to how animals and people die from the bite of a kimono dragon. The bite alone does not kill you, it's the vast amount of bacteria and diseases within the saliva that does. From the bite you end up getting infected with so many diseases that the immune system is overwhelmed and does not know which pathogens to defend against.

i thought of that too. but didn't mention it because someone would have said that they put the guts on the raincoats.

link?

Re: The Walking Dead

Voyuer

Link? It's in the comics. In the comics **********SPOILER*********a few people became a zombie despite not being bitten after they died. However in the show they hinted at some of what I said about the bite in the season finale of season one when the doctor was explaining how him and his colleagues theorized how zombies manifest.

I tried looking for the scene on YouTube and did not find it.
