The Walking Dead: All Seasons (DON'T POST SPOILERS)

I hated they killed him off but I aint mad because he makes sense because they wrote him in the show acting like a bitch. He is like the only one still trying to hold on to a reality that aint there no more. Everybody else realizes its shit they have to do to survive and he never jumped on that bandwagon.

But I gotta say this was a great departure episode hte tone pacing everything was very different from the usual episode.

Not BETTER but I appreciate them really using all the equity they have built up over the years to try different things and really go for it.

the way the radio news reports (read by Rick himself) framed the episode was damn near brilliant...

the facts that from the OUTSIDE Rick and the crew's activities WOULD be seen as some type of crazed terrorist acts to the world...but now?

It is the norm.

I'm watching last nights episode again and what someone said about the kid coming thru the shared bathroom is true. When Tyrese enters the bedroom he looks to side sees the boy on the bed and the pictures, when he turns to the side to look at the pictures you can see a door entrance behind him and that's where the lil kid came thru that bit him

The thing that kills me in the comic book he was so strong mentally physically and spiritually

and he started out that way on the show too...what COULD have been a great push and pull alpha male battle with Rick instead they went with the tired cliche of the spiritual Black man suddenly finding religion and eschewing violence and leading the white people to a path of peace.

WTF?

I kinda like that they haven't made everything that happened in the comics just like in the show. I like when people "think" they know what's gonna happen and then are wrong. I remember when Michonne was first introduced guys kept trying to drop lil hints like "oh she so bad, this and that is about happen..blah blah, samething when Rick was supposed to go to this "dark place" after Lorie died:rolleyes:

Tyrese is riding in the van at the end listening to the hallucination on the radio. Him asking for it to be turned off was him "opting out." Literally giving up on life rather than facing the fact that bad shit happens in the zombie Apocalypse. Even getting Tyrese to the van was a metaphor for how much dead weight he was on the group and how many times others were at risk because of him.

I do too

but not only is this a departure I think its just a bad choice.

Thanks. That makes sense.

I haven't kept up with the comic since 2010, but I'm curious about one thing. Is Noah's neighborhood supposed to be the same "enclave outside DC" that was the setting for a major arc in comic.

I'm guessing it's not since it looks like they are leaving, but it had some similarities to it

One thing I learned while watching the show is not to relate it to the comics. Some things from the show are loosely based on the comic but most of the events are not. I agree. I don't think Noah's neighborhood is supposed to be that place you are speaking about. I think it was just the setting the writers picked to off Tyreese.

There are rumors that the group will run into Negan and his bunch, but that's just a rumor. If the group runs into some cat named Jesus or a dude with a tiger as a pet, I am done.

no rumor,Kirkman and the show producers themselves said Negan WILL appear at some point, just not this season or next

I thought so tooo... but since they didnt burn it right away i knew he would lose to much blood!!

Yeah, what's with the fucking panic to get out of the gated community?

The bulk of the walkers were outside.

They should of been able to find some flammable materials, even possibly right in Noah's house and heat up a frying pan or a clothes iron to seal that shit.

Also, Noah left poor Tyrese without making sure he was safe and put a tourniquet on his arm.

Dude spent enough time at the hospital to pick up on shit. Unless he's even more special than Forrest Gump, running around like a fucking fool.

Don't mind him dying, but after all this time they should have 'clear house clothes' or something. Gloves. Arm coverings. It's just extremely unrealistic that they'd be running around without covering their fucking arms and legs.

Then the cat doesn't even clear the room properly.

Just terrible shit.

that is a great damn point!!!

But they are going to explain it that he wast thinking straight because of the mother and brothers death.

 coldchi what show was you watching?lol my dude he died at the end, thats why everyone ran out the car.plus another thing that got me was this dude died like omar from the damn wire.nobody could kill this fool but died by a fucking little kid.i was so damn mad when i was seeing this on the wire an this bullshit ass show.like dude said ,they had all the time in the world to burn his arm but did they?HELL NO!! could someone please tell me what the hell was they talking about pay the bill shit.also why the hell was he so into those picks on the wall?did this nigga want to add those boys to his babysitting crew?it made no damn since.last but no least i agree with ol dude when he said zombies never was able to open doors.THAT WAS THE SECOND MAJOR FUCK UP IN THIS SHOW.THE FIRST WAS WHEN THE ZOMBIE AT RICKS WHOLD DAMN BODY :lol:BONES AN CLOTHES EVERYTHING.starting to hate this show.

Wrong, Morgan's wife made the knob move.

I know Morgan's wife made the knob move - I'm not about moving the knob. I used to have a cat that would smack the oval shaped knob and open the door (I actually had another cat that would stand up on his hind legs and grab the oval knob between his forepaws and twist - smart ass cat). But to actually turn the knob and with coordination twist and pull in, that I haven't seen done. If the kid could do that, why the hell was he trapped in the room in the first place if he could let himself out?

What one of my White co-workers wrote on her FB page last night...

"God forbid there are more than 3 black characters on The Walking Dead at one time."

She's really getting pissed off with this now.

She's like, "IT'S FUCKIN' ATLANTA GEORGIA?"

I really want to say to her face when I see her,

"BITCH. I TOLD YOU THAT ABOUT FOUR SEASONS AGO!"

This had been one of my major complaints about the show (and comic book series) since it's first season. A show that (initially) takes place in/around Atlanta, GA. A city with a major Black population. And now the producers are playing a "disingenuous catch-up".

Even the Race Rag NY Post has joined in with an "excuse"...

I haven't even bother to download and watch this episode yet.

In a way fewer black characters kind of makes sense

Think of all the racist trigger happy whites we have roaming the streets now. Now put those folks in a situation where groups of black zombies are mistaken for crazed killers and the government has broken down to the point where there is absolutely no reprisal for vigilante murder. You have a perfect storm for violent White Supremacists.

Also consider that statistically speaking black people tend to live in more densely populated areas than whites. This makes the chance of infection much greater.

Finally, remember that during the show's prequel large sections of Atlanta were bombed by the military to try and slow the speed of the infection.

As with most major catastrophes in this country, a zombie pandemic would probably have affected black people much worse than any other group.

The curious question is, how come there isn't more Mexicans?

Are you currently aware of gun culture. Do you own?

Zombie apocalypse in the gun shop is code for - " Black and brown with guns, and or . . . just existing being black or brown, when shit hits the fan " . Zombie horde = Urban people, persons of color.

Ain't got shit to do with the show.

You ain't know.:lol::lol::lol: Your people want to kill us all, and rape our women, it might not be YOU, but your people been doing it for the last 2K years.

I was completely unaware of the gun culture race/zombie references you mentioned.

If the writers of the show were unaware as well they might have added more black characters late in the game to escape that particular criticism. We'll never know, but it would be cool to find out.

:smh: Just finished watching Sundays episode. I was like dam dude got taken out because of noahs bitch ass. But anyway I liked the episode overall. I thought he was going to pull through. But when they showed the past characters all in the car :itsawrap:

Anything. It's just poor writing.

13 percent of the population with the most religious people in the U.S. aren't going to have a high survival rate. A good number of folks would be on some Jesus praying shit and not following protocol on how to deal with the dead. I could see the churches being fucking packed and outbreaks happening. Shit just goes downhill from there.

Lack of gun ownership. Most black folks living in densely populated areas. I could see a lot of survivors getting killed trying to get to fam in densely populated areas.

An accurate representation would probably be 1 out of 15 or so survivors being black.

lol dont know why yall suprised. the only black character thats guarantee for now is michionne. everbody else is expandable.

i mean look at the way they write the black team vs the way they write the white team.
unless there is beef or a actor finds a better gig aint no white character dying. im talking about the original team.

I really liked and hated the last ep at the same. I loved how well the overall plot was done but hated how they just had to do the black man rotation again as well as how Tyrese had to go (a damn kid zombie takes him out after taking out crowds of zombies on multiple occassions...:hmm:), but at least he had a proper send off.
