The standard rate at Black barbershops is now $35-$40

My barbershop has now increased standard haircut (No facial hair) prices to $35 due to covid.
But here’s the kicker....
You can only book services through the booking app called “The Cut”.
Booking comes with an automatic $5 tip and a .95 cent processing fee.

My barber cut me and 2 of my kids for $35. I need to see your hair, right after your barber cut it. That shit better be on par with the best of the best.

That shit ain't automatic... that's set by the barber

Cause of covid I learned to cut my own hair while everything was closed in NY. I have a simple cut, all even using a 000 guard which translates to 0.5mm length. I invested in these clippers I saw on Amazon and have been VERY PLEASED. I've already used them enough to pay for themselves. I won't say I'll never go back to my barber but he'll only see me once e every 3 months or so.

One thing I do regret. I would of spent a little more and bought this version since it comes with beard attachments. I saw it but wasn't thinking when I bought my version. Look into either.....I'm really happy with them.

yeah, i will never understand grown men that cant cut their own hair

fades ok, but basic shit like a line up, mustache trim, and an all even? shits absurd.

this covid-19 got me side-eyeing hella cats out here looking like mcgruff the crime dog

I understand it. Im not a barber. When I want a new table I don’t craft one myself. I buy one from the store . I’m a not a craftsman. Some shit is worth paying for.

Jokes..humans been making those since the beginning of time.. Question is why do people make comments on anything.. There begins your path of finding the truth
I get it but that specific joke seems to be circulated the most and within it is some slick dissing. Just don't see care in concerning ourselves with the next man's appearance.

i havent had a haircut since covid. i think i am going to cut my shit. i prefer a professional cut, but i used to be the neighborhood barber back in the day and used to cut my own shit too. only problem, that shit was 20 years ago...
i bought a good set of clippers a couple of years ago but never used them. its time.

if barbershops and barbers went on strike for the next 2 yrs.. Would ya all look like Moses or would ya say fuck this I'm going to learn how to do this shit?... It's crazy how so many people depend on another person for hygiene... Hair cuts, pedicures/manicures all that shit is hygiene... There's certain things I'm not gonna depend on somebody for and hygiene is 1 of them.. Imagine not washing your head for a month cause a salon is closed.. Dirt, dandruff, all that shit stuck on your scalp and you waiting like hey maybe they'll come back eventually.. Nah can't do that

Just stupid

nigga if you can’t see how washing your hair is differ taking clippers and cutting your hair.

cutting your hair is about presentation not about hygiene.

It goes under hygiene buddy... Hair collects dirt, sweat, etc... You can actually have funny smelling odor due to it... Hygiene also has something to do with presentation... Brushing your teeth.. Isn't white teeth great presentation?.. Truss it all defined by hygiene... Ya gave somebody the power to control yours

That nigga just be talking
that pretty much sums up 98 percent of your post... By the way I know you miss your barber giving you lollipop after your cuts since you still get child prices cause your feet dangle in the air when you sit down... Barber got to put the seat extra low so you can climb in it to sit down

I had dreads but my shit never stunk because I washed it to maintain good hygiene. Twisting my hair was part of the Hygiene it was presentation, because rather or lot my shot was twisted it was washed and smelling nice.

dumb nigga, if all stores are closed for 90 days and you NEED a table. you gonna eat off the fucking FLOOR? or are you going to craft a makeshift table to use to get you by?

niggas are retarded.

sure, things are worth paying for

in the event i CANT pay someone, like during a PANDEMIC, certain basic shit an adult needs to know how to do himself

like FEED yourself, you know COOK
WASH yourself
GROOMING, cut your own hair

Andis Master vs Wahl Senior: Which is better?

Thoughts?

I have the cordless Andis Master a year or more...

it has an all metal case
its relativly quiet, very strong motor -cuts through heavy dense hair very easily-
it doesn't get warm. Blades came out of the box well adjusted and sharp.
After using them for a year - I can shape myself up with the Masters and get almost as sharp a line as when I use my T Liner

That's me right now.
