Got to look at the big picture, Jamacia makes billions of dollars off of tourism and a large portion of that comes from England, so until someone can fully examine the economic impact breaking away from England would have on their economy, I'd think twice about making this move.

Agricultural could sustain Jamaica if they had full control over the resources and profits.
The agriculture biz is kind of tight especially in the West Indies where the typical crop is pineapples, bananas, sugarcane, and mango. But there is opportunity in crops like organic marijuana, sea moss, and even psilocybin-producing mushrooms but even these crops are somewhat connected to the tourist business brought in by the States and Great Britain.
Don't forget about the alcohol like rum and the export of coffee beans.
