Season 1 was way better than Season 2. It's almost like they're trying too hard to create suspense.

And come on, Jeff Bridges is kicking everyone ass even though he's "OLD."

I find myself going, "This is some bullshit" a lot this season.

I liked the old man using more tricks and training and experience and desperation to fight

But it dragged and too many speeches it got deary and unnecessary confusing plot

Not enough action.

And I felt that the season was being rewritten on the fly maybe the strike effected it.

I hope they get a third season to finish the story but this was not as strong as the first season.

I got home Saturday night and start bingeing the new season at home Sunday morning and finished this afternoon.

Season picks up directly after the events of Angela getting kidnapped.

Got more information on Dan and Harold’s relationship with each other.

They did a good job showing the current state of Afghanistan politics after the U.S. pullout. The Lithium mining sub-plot answers a lot of questions on what is currently going on. Interesting seeing the Taliban using U.S. military equipment that was left too the former Afghanistan Army/Police.

The season started off slow with Angela in Afghanistan but picked up quickly mid-season bringing in the geo-political drama around the Lithium. Folks don’t realize in the real world that Lithium is like Vibranium/Adamantium in the MCU.

Angela going full “Black Ops” was a nice twist. That Brotha Julian stepped up running through like “John Wick”. Fight scenes with Dan were not as long/intense as in season one.

Overall, the season played out well as a suspense thriller with a few twists.

Jeff Bridges ain’t getting younger (He is 74), they gonna need to wrap this series up in Season 3 before he passes away unexpectedly.

I'm happy you enjoyed this more than most.

I agree season 3 should be the end of this. The lack of long fights REALLY effected the overall enjoyment of the series.

I think physically this was too much for Jeff going forward. And the audience was not enthusiastic about the second season.

I really think they earned a third season story wise but I strongly suspected this would happen.

They should be proud of what they accomplished.

I watched season 2 a few days ago. I was disappointed like everyone else and felt sympathy for Emily(going to call her emily because it's shorter) after she watched that film of Hamzad holding her and her wanting to stay. Once the special forces showed with the chopper, that should have been it. Seems like her entire purpose of being there the whole time was to control the lithium and she manipulated all these dude because she knew that they would do anything for her. Thing started getting stupid after she kept moving the carrot and I'm surprised that Chase didn't pick up on this. It was amazing to me to see how his loyalty switched to Zoe once he realized that Emily was not going to be his "daughter" anymore. It would be interesting to see what happened next, but I just wanted to get the season over with. Was happy to learn more about Harold and Chase's backstory as well...

Sidenote: I was strangely turned on by harold's ex-wife; but Lithgow did a great job of showing a man that went through hell with her and I understand completely why they got divorced (still..keep the line of communication over there so you can still bend her over every once in a while )
